Top Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens Hotel Reviews
Daylesford Art Motel
10/10 Excellent
"This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!"
Hotel Frangos
8/10 Good
"Likeable funky Victorian styling. Creaky floors added ambience. The huge bathroom had a bath with hand shower, bath leaked. The basin had serious cracks. Great Bistro downstairs."
'Forget-Me-Not Garden Cottage.' A classic and cosy cottage, close to town.

Hill Haven Daylesford ~ Beautiful Garden Cottage
10/10 Excellent
"Great vibes, enjoyed stay a lot. If not travelling by car, it can be difficult to get there as it is on a huge hill. Otherwise it was lovely!"
Luxurious Hilltop Studio, only 10 minutes walk to the main street of Daylesford
10/10 Excellent
"No communication with host. Not a place to be without a car. Walking uphil on roads without sidewalks not safe after dark. No place to sit outside. 10 min from center is true when downhill without luggage. With luggage uphill a chalenge if not knowing the location. Positive: cute homely place with excellent shower and comfy king-sized bed. Close to Wombat and Convent. The electronic lock failed and we took a key instead. Very quiet place, we did not see a soul except for a lovely grey cat. "

The Art Retreat-5 minute walk to Daylesford, quiet and tranquil
10/10 Excellent
"This was a beautiful mini retreat in a superb location. It is a rustic and quaint interior with full private amenities in a very clean and cosy space surrounded by a tranquil and gorgeous garden. A definite positive alternate to a motel. The owners Jess and Ali respected full privacy though certainly were helpful and approachable if needed. Ali's art work is to be admired. Jess's local knowledge was shared willingly . The owners focus however is on ensuring you feel uninterrupted surrounded by nature, being comfortable embracing all that Daylesford and its surrounds offer. The location was less than a five minute walk to the main street so made outings to cafes/ restaurants shops places of art and a fabulous gin bar (recently opened by Daylesford Spirit Distillery) as well as nature walks easy to navigate (a slight hill back to walk). There is full access to a private car space and driveway that ensures a complete sense of security. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, linen and the heating and cooling was perfect. A nice little fire place that the owners can light if requested. For those who might stay at this accommodation reading the history inside the welcome information is revealing. If you like clean, full privacy and a central and gorgeous location without the clinical and unpredictable feel of a motel then this is a prime choice. Thank you so much for Ali and Jess - you have created a tranquil and enjoyable place to stay in beautiful Daylesford."
