This cabin incorporates plenty of outdoor amenities with an accommodating interior to give you the perfect hill country vacation. Enjoy the fire pit placed at the back of the cabin for your privacy. Allow yourself to relax at the end of each day in your own private hot tub, just steps away from the fire pit. Indoors, lounge on the incredibly comfy couch and chairs in front of the classic stove fireplace. Enjoy meals with loved ones at the four seat dining table. With a fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining area, this spacious and welcome living and dining area will make you feel right at home.

Venture onto the back porch and discover views of the valley and the incredible greenery that surrounds the home. For the early risers, sit and enjoy a breathtaking sunrise looking out over the hill country. On a cold night, gather around the fire pit and enjoy quality time with loved ones. As your day draws to a close, rest your head in one of the two bedrooms. With the master bedroom having glass sliding doors with porch access, you can embrace all the wonders of nature right from your room.

Being so close to the center of town will make your trip all the more enjoyable; with convenient access to Jacob’s Well, the town square, and many local wineries and restaurants, The Summit is your destination to experience a little bit of everything our little part of Texas has to offer.

Lovely views and relaxing stay!

We really enjoyed staying here! The place was nice and even though there were houses around us, it felt secluded and relaxed! We found everything we needed in the house and we loved walking around downtown!

Birthday getaway

This was a wonderful place to stay for a nice, peaceful getaway in the hill country. The place was cozy and warm. The place was vey clean and well kept. Beautiful view from the top porch. Would definitely stay there again.

Property was perfect for our needs! The covered patio was so great , we watched a nice evening rainstorm blow through. Plenty of space and so close to Wimberley for a nice day trip.

Perfect Getaway

Cold weather but nice and cozy home

We rode motorcycles up to Wimberly in freezing weather.. hot tub was on and ready. The home was nice and warm. Rode to HEB and picked up firewood.. you need to bring firewood if you want to make use of fireplace and outdoor chiminea. Bed was very comfortable. Used uber service once .. nice and quick pick up. I would stay here again.

Wimberley adventure

Hill Country cabin. Very authentic. High porch was the most fun aspect providing great view of the surrounding countryside. Loved the foosball game as well.

Convenient location in wimberley

This property was good. Was a little more rustic than it looked in the listing but generally good. The bed was comfortable views were nice and the air con really kept it cool. Kitchen had most all the necessities to be functional but wasn’t the most well equipped or updated space. No dishwasher. The location was nice and convenient to town but it was pretty close tothe main road and there was some highway noise. Bathroom needs a major update.

The Summit

Great location! Gorgeous views! Loved the hot tub and the fire pit. The place was very clean and pretty and comfortable. We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone! And we will be back as well.

Fabulous and secluded

It’s a beautiful home located in a nice neighborhood but you feel like your in the mountains somewhere! 100% recommend for all ages and retreats! We can’t wait to come back ourselves .

Gorgeous View

This was our first trip to Wimberley. The house was perfect and as described. Close to everything but very secluded. We spent most of our time out on the decks. The views were absolutely gorgeous. We would definitely book this house again on our next to Wimberley!

Sunrises, sunsets and star gazing

Overall, we enjoyed our stay with our snall dog and especially enjoyed the views from rooftop deck. Aside from that, the shower/tub needs updating and some of the dishes and utensils needed washing before use. Everything else was comfortable and accomodating for our needs.

Outdoor Living

Great location right next to everything and gorgeous views! We were a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the property and the outdated pictures online, but if you’re a fan of camping and the outdoors with a little vintage vibe, then this is the house for you! I would like to reiterate there’s no dishwasher and we found several dirty dishes from past residents. You also definitely need to buy a fly swatter or two and I might not recommend staying here for toddler and younger, but older kids would love the fusbol table and hot tub!

Gorgeous views | Close to town

If your main goal is to stay in a home close to Wimberley and to enjoy great views, this is the perfect home for you! The home itself is cute, however it’s older and could use a deep clean. There is a lot of dust under couches and beds. The kitchen needs to be updated and restocked on cookware. The most disappointing part of our stay was dirty sheets on the master bed which I didn’t see until after hours. The office was apologetic and did their best to get us new sheets the next day. Overall we had a good trip. We loved going up to the rooftop deck during the day for the gorgeous views and even more for starry nights and shooting stars.

Wimberly Get Girls Away

I stayed the weekend with my daughter, daughter-in-law, and her mother to celebrate our girls turning 30! The location was terrific, and I enjoyed the upper deck, lower deck, and beautiful views. We did not use the hot tub or sun porch. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There are two things I would note: The sun porch has an unpleasant odor, but the house is perfect! The kitchen faucet sprays water everywhere when washing dishes! I would recommend this property to anyone who does not want to use the sun porch to sleep.

House was ok

First, I will say, make sure to get the insurance! Company will not work with you even in the act of God. We were scheduled to come in when the snow and ice hit Southeast Tx in 2025. I asked if we could come in a day late and be refunded for it. I was told I would have to go through the insurance if I purchased it due to being out of the window for cancelling. Second, it is a nice house but does need some love. The shower barley has any pressure. Toilet flushes when it wants to. There is no cable/satellite system in the house. Bed was very comfortable. Hot tub area was great, but maybe over treated on chemicals.Drive way is small especially for 3/4 ton trucks.

Enjoyed retro vibe of the property

Easy check-in and good communication. The house was a great size for 2 people enjoying a Texas Hill Country week. Older home but nicely kept. Cute furnishings. Nice deck to sit outside. Located close to HEB and the cute downtown shops and restaurants. A good base for exploring surrounding areas. Overall the house was very clean but dirty dishes (crusty, clearly unwashed) were found in the cabinet. Worth mentioning because it had been noted in another review. Previous guests are likely responsible not the owner. Wash dishes before using. A neighbor’s dog was left outside and barked all night long some nights was the only issue with the neighborhood.

Wonderful home with delightful touches!

It was my sister and mother's birthday gathering! We found it relaxing and well located for HEB and restaurants. The house is charming and well appointed. There is really no one to communicate about this to since it is managed by a company and unfortunately, when I tried to communicate with them before the trip to ask some simple questions, I couldn't get any assistance. So, here goes so these simple details can be addressed for the next renters: I would recommend dish towels since there is no dishwasher and drying dishes was a challenge - we didn't want to use all the paper towels. There was no dish soap but we remedied that with a trip to the store. The hot tub had dirt in it and half of the jets didn't work but that didn't stop us from enjoying it and the fire pit. Overall, had a fabulous time and enjoyed the home very much! We made family memories we will always cherish. :D

Awesome spot for Hill Country Views

The Summit has a great location, close to town, and a nice upper deck to view sunrises and do some stargazing at night. The deck off the main area also offers a nice place to sit and watch the deer pass through the yard. There is plenty of parking and has easy access to get into the house. The outside seemed as though it would be nice to use the firepit, they even left us some wood, but there was a burn ban while we were there, so no S'mores for us. The inside of the house offers a nice open space to sit and relax and the multiple patio doors allows you to still be able to view outside. There is a nice area for dining and also a fireplace, but we did not use it. The kitchen has some of the basics, but if you plan to cook or grill a meal you should bring what you need for meal prep and cooking. There was dinnerware, utensils and glasses. There is a full-size refrigerator and stove/oven, which makes it nice to store food to cook or bake. The bedrooms were nice and had plenty of pillows and blankets. The main bedroom has a king bed and lots of storage. The second bedroom does not have any place to store clothes or have a closet to use. The bathroom desperately needs to be renovated.The shower/tub is not what was expected for the price of our stay. Showering was not enjoyable at all. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but would not rent again unless the bathroom has been updated.
