San Miguel Suite at Blanco Rapids Ranch

We are close to Wimberley and Canyon Lake on the beautiful Blanco Rapids Ranch right on the Blanco River. You'll enjoy a picturesque setting with river access, hiking trails, pickle ball court and relaxation. We are well stocked, excellently decorated and wonderfully comfortable. We are good for couples, families with kids, solo adventurers and anyone looking to recharge. See our other listings at BLANCO RAPIDS RANCH: Longhorn Suite Safari Suite River Runs Through It Suite Happy House San Miguel Suite has a high-quality and comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has a double vanity and separate area for the toilet and walk in stone shower. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, microwave, convection oven and single cooktop. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and most items needed to make cooking meals here a breeze. There are 3 patios with dining space and Charcoal/Gas Grill to make cooking even easier. There are 2 cabins with 2 private suites per cabin. River access is just down a stairway and an easy walk to the river. Please bring river shoes as the concrete slab near the river and the rocks in the river are slippery. Please do not go with bare feet or flip flops. Please no glass at the river, foam and plastic cups are available in the suites for your use. A car is needed to get to/from the ranch. There is a round driveway near the Longhorn Suite or you may park behind the suites. Property is located 2.5 miles down a private road on a beautiful part of the Blanco River. The property is in Wimberley, Hays County but the entrance is in Fischer, Comal County. Please feel free to call or text if you need anything Property is located near Wimberley, San Marcos, Gruene and New Braunfels. A car is required. It is best to pick up supplies at the Brookshire Brothers in Canyon Lake or the H-E-B in Wimberley before coming out. There are restaurants in the area but you'll want to have some food on hand as we are not close enough for any food delivery services.

Off the beaten path

Beautiful place and lots of room to roam. Nice location with access to the Blanco river. Cabins were nicely decorated and very clean.

The San Miguel

I love the location of this property, very secluded and right on the river. The cabin was decorated so nice and the room was very clean. The Wi-Fi was not working, but I wasn’t there to be on my phone anyway! I met the owner’s sister and chatted with her briefly, very sweet. Overall, great experience and would love to stay again!

Great get away!!

It was great! Arrived at 12:30am, I did let the property manager know I was going to be late, she left the light on and I had the code for the door. The morning view was great! Everything was as described in the listing. I will be back!

Delightful stay on Blanco River

If you are looking to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Blanco river on a quiet well maintained ranch -this is the get-a-way for you! The cabin was clean and nicely decorated with everything you need. We swam in the river and chose to bring food in so that we could take full advantage of the views for all meals. Lucy the owner’s dog was also an added bonus. She was so friendly and loves to play in the river with anyone willing to throw a stick or ball. Best Vrbo experience yet!

Weekend reflections

My sister and I stayed here on what would have been our mothers 80th birthday. It was our first one without her, so we wanted a place to relax, reminisce and reflect. Everything was perfect. The room was clean , beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. The setting was set far enough away that we felt secluded , but was close enough to wimberley and dripping springs that we were able to get out and about when we wanted to. Great stay - will be back ❤️❤️

Enjoyable getaway on the Blanco

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was exactly as described…well-decorated, extremely clean, and comfy. The river was easily accessible due to the concrete steps and there was a nice picnic table on a concrete slab near the water. We had fun catching little perch, bass, and catfish in the clear water. We saw some workers, a friendly man on a mule/gator who waved hello, and a sweet little boy who also waved as he passed by. Oh, and a yellow lab mix who was very friendly! Otherwise, it seemed as if we had the property to ourselves. It was beautiful in the evenings. We appreciated the list of recommended restaurants and nearby attractions. We’d definitely recommend this property to others. Follow the directions closely and, yes, it’s quite a bit off the FM road, but worth the drive!

Fantastic time

We came from Dallas for a short getaway and had a fantastic time. Rest and relaxation at the ranch and plenty to do nearby if you require any excursions. Will definitely be back!
