「As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. 「We couldn't have picked a more perfect place. The cottage is located on a beautiful, quiet tree-lined lane, which is unique considering many similar stays are on the noisy main roads. We were greeted every morning by a mare and her foal grazing directly outside the window. 「This place was amazing. Perfect location for daily excursions. The cottage itself was wonderful!!!! Great open concept with large showers and water pressure. The beds were comfortable. 「There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. 「We enjoyed our stay and how original this home was. The hot tub and creek out back was so relaxing after a day of traveling. We didn’t cook while there so I can’t remark on cooking supplies and etc. I think some shelving in the large wardrobes in bedrooms would help a lot. We used the extra small table in the utility area to lay out our clothes so we didn’t have to get into luggage everyday. They had plenty of extra covers/pillows in 2nd bedroom. 「We had a great stay, weather very mixed and appreciated Railway Cottage being warm and cosy. Oughterard was a great base foe exploring and provided all we needed - Sullivan's cinnamon buns are addictive! Thanks to Joe for info about the area and Carmel for the scones.
