About this property
3 Bed in Wigton (oc-93461)
Located in the north of the Lake District, on the edge of the tranquil village of Hesket Newmarket, this delightful property offers guests a peaceful and restful stay. Pack your hiking boots and head out for a walk along the path from the village green, down to the bridge and onto the Cumbria Way. Head to Caldbeck (2.5 miles) or Sebergham (5 miles), and stroll through woodlands with valley views. Past Caldbeck, find The Howk and pretty waterfalls as you follow the river. Hop in the car and visit Bassenthwaite, Keswick and Derwentwater (all within 16.5 miles) for further amenities and tourist spots or to try your hand at boating or fishing on the lake.
As you step inside this welcoming abode, built on the footprint of an old barn, you'll find yourself in a spacious entrance hall, perfect for shedding your boots and outdoor gear after a day of exploring the stunning Lakeland scenery.
