We absolutely loved our stay. It was conveniently located 5 min away to close friends of ours that we have not seen in years, so it was nice to be close to them. The property was clean and stocked with most things that we needed. I went to make coffee our first morning and the coffee machine was not working. I contacted property management to let them know and said I could just boil water in the tea kettle provided, but they insisted on dropping off a new coffee machine, which was so nice of them! Additionally, my oldest son lost his ID and debit card the morning we left and we thought they were gone for good. But luckily the cleaners found them and they are being mailed back to us here in NJ. Overall, Stumptown Rentals was very accommodating and made our stay very nice. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the neighbors across the street. They do not like renters and make sure you know that. I could go into a lot of details about them, but it will not all fit here. Bottom line was they made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I could understand if we were unruly renters, but we were respectful and followed all rules that were posted. We also spoke with other renters that we met at the pool and they had the same type of encounter with them. I want to bring this to the owner’s attention as I’m sure he doesn’t want his renters being treated like this. If he would like more details regarding this he is welcome to reach out to me.
