The two bedrooms downstairs contain a Queen size bed in one room and a King size bed in the other room, the bedroom left area has a lovely wooden Pyramid Style bunk bed with a working desk. The unit has a spiral staircase that leads to the loft and lower bedrooms. The unit has a private deck with table, chairs and BBQ Grill to enjoy, there is a running stream outside the deck area for you to enjoy all the sounds of nature.

During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire.



Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!



The Neighborhood:

Welcome to Ptarmigan Village. we are a private community located on 52 forested acres of land on big mountain. water and sewer are provided for and managed on site. The amenities include an indoor heated pool, an outdoor pool (seasonal), a hot tub, and wet sauna. Elmer’s pond is a small pond we stock with fish every summer for the kiddos to practice their angler skills. There are hiking trails throughout the village as well as two tennis/pickleball courts. Our owners and guests also have private access to beachfront and dock on whitefish lake.



Getting Around:

The village is a beautiful place to take a stroll - it is always better to have a vehicle to get around to all the many scenery sites Montana offers.
