My group (four adults, two teenagers, two elementary-aged kids) stayed here for a week in July 2023. The property was even better than the listing conveyed.
The location was great -- close enough to town (10 minutes) to make it easy to go for groceries, etc. but far enough out to feel secluded. It was also centrally located between our trips to Glacier NP and Bigfork.
The property was lovely. The house is situated on a large, wooded lot with a creek running into a large pond. The kids in our group (even the teenagers) spent hours playing in the creek and pond (the paddle boat was a big hit) while the adults relaxed a short distance away on the large back porch. Deer wandered through the property daily, and we also saw some wild turkeys.
The house itself was great for our group of eight. The two rooms on the main level with queen-sized beds were great for the adults. The small room with two twin-sized beds was perfect for the younger kids in our group, and even came pre-stocked with toys, books, etc. (The Nerf guns got a lot of use.) The loft bedroom upstairs was good for teens, but be advised that the ladder up to it is steep and only good for the sure-footed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living room is a little small for larger groups, but the weather was so great that we spent most of our lounge time on the outdoor sofa anyway.
All in all, we had a fabulous stay and would happily book this property again if we were back in the area.
