Historic hotel! Awesome corner king room. Yes, trains go by regularly but we had no problems with the "toot toooot" bc of the RR tracks nearby. Non-smoking so theres a cute court yard out back you can go if needed, parking is there too... very convenient to Dartmouth Hitchcock also. For the price well worth it!

I always love staying at the Hotel Coolidge! This hotel has charm, character, and a fantastic staff! The rooms are clean and quiet, perfext for a peaceful night's rest. The beds are soft, almost cloud-like. I will definitely stay here again and again! Highly recommend!

The location is very convenient. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The train arrived/departured several times during the night, if you are a light sleeper, that may be a problem.

This hotel was completely unacceptable. We did not stay. There was mold in the room, my husband’s eyes and throat began to swell and I could not breath. The front desk would not reimburse us and so we left and had to find other accommodations at 9 at night. We will be looking to management or expedia to refund us. We have pictures of the condition of the room.

I’ve stayed here before and will again. It’s not the Marriott, it’s the Coolidge. Stay and you’ll see. Property is very old. It’s also clean. I always sleep well here. The staff are eclectic and make me laugh every-time. In a good way. Its a great stay for price and atmosphere.

The king bed was horribly uncomfortable. Ceiling needs repair. It should never of been rented out in the condition it was in. The people that work there R top notch. The hotel is kept very clean.

Great historic hotel with super friendly, knowledgeable staff. Love the lobby with the fireplace. Relaxing and peaceful and so convenient to Amtrak right across the street. Town is incredible for its small size. Multiple restaurants to fit anyone's palette and budget.

Old school city hotel next to train station in small river town. Nothing fancy - creaky floors, steam heat but with old fashioned charm. Great choice of restaurants nearby.

This is an older hotel -- not fancy at all, but charming and well maintained. Located in the heart of White River Junction, walkable to multiple restaurants and galleries.

We have 31 guest rooms and 31 parking spaces, there should be enough room for everyone! And while we do not have a restaurant in-house, there are 8 restaurants within a 20 second walk of the Hotel--quite literally. Thanks for the 4 stars. We appreciate it!

This property had the thinnest walls I have ever experienced! I could hear conversations from folks outside and upstairs all night long. Check in person was cold and unhelpful when asked about room amenities.

The Coolidge Hotel is one of the sweetest, most charming venues we've had the pleasure of experiencing in years! It's dated, but that's definitely part of the charm! The innkeepers are very informative and helpful, and the downtown location is WONDERFUL! We found many restaurants within easy walking distance. We'll be back when in the area - yes, we will!

Lovely, clean historic hotel

Fantastic old railway hotel. We've stayed before. It's an historic property, the floors are uneven, so if you want modern, this isn't for you. But if you can appreciate its charm, it's great. Very clean room and bathroom. Good water pressure and hot water. In spite of the fact that the hotel was at full capacity, we heard nary a sound from othe guests. You don't get walls that thick in a new building! Tea and coffee always available in the lobby, and a microwave there also. The only negative for me was that the room was much warmer rhan I like for sleeping. Probably a plus for most people.

Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room but there was one in the lobby. Charming, historic, and a wonderful spot surrounded by the beauty and charm of Vermont.

The hotel was originally built around 1940 and it holds the original characteristics of that time. It underwent a partial renovation in the mid 1990, however it will need to receive a complete upgrade to be brought to today’s current level of standard and comfort. Plumbing was not working properly, no A/C available, walls did not provide adequate privacy and sound insulation, carpet needs to be replaced in kind. Nevertheless the immersive experience is amazing, the staff is very cordial and supportive, and one can see the admiration for the decor in the face of the hotel guests. The surrounding area suffers the same fate. A great corner of American History that should be restored as an example of prototypical gilded age settlement. Hope that private investors or government agency will find the resources to restore and preserve this historic gem.

Hmmm...I'm not sure what you're referring to, but I absolutely cannot imagine anyone on staff referring to anyone as a liar. Such behavior simply wouldn't be tolerated. I do wish that you would have reported this to me at any point during your stay so that I could have addressed it. I hope that your future travels are happier.

However, I believe that we have a number of amenities--free on site parking, fireplace in the Lobby, breakfast discount at two local eateries, free coffee and other hot drinks 24/7 in the Lobby, a little free library shelf in the Lobby too...Not to mention a super-convenient downtown location with shops, stores and restaurants all within about a 20-second walk of the Hotel...Thanks for staying with us--We appreciate it!

My husband and I stayed one night for a getaway. We were convinced we were transported back in time. This is a fantastic glimpse back into time when the town was built around the train station. Next time we would love to wander around a little more. We will definitely be back. We really enjoyed the room we got also.

Property is indeed historical. The lobby was lovely… room not so much. The staff was extremely pleasant, loved the coffee bar and the price of my stay was great.
