Take a trip to Portland, with its traditional lighthouse and stunning 16th-century castle (both within 7 miles) or explore the rugged pebble swathes of Chesil Beach (3 miles). Further afield, you can take the family to attractions such as Monkey World (14 miles) and the Tank Museum (14.5 miles).
