Short Drive to Trails, Secluded in the Hiawatha National Forest

White Pine Hollow is a cabin in the Hiawatha National Forest, just outside of Munising. The Isolated cabin sits on several acres with a path to a creek where everyone can enjoy peace and tranquility. This cabin sleeps 7 with a Queen bed in the loft and a bunkbed (twin & full size beds) in the downstairs bedroom. Open concept living area and kitchen. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room as well. Huge living room windows to watch wildlife that may cross through the property or to watch the snowfall during a cozy afternoon. Enjoy the newly built balcony from the loft area!

This home away from home has everything you will need for your stay other than your personal belongings. Fully equipped kitchen, linens, washer & dryer, dishwasher and Wifi.

Enjoy a fire outside with family and make memories that will last a lifetime. Tons of open space for your dogs. Please no more than 2 pets, call us if you have anymore questions about your pets. We do charge a $53/pet fee plus a one time $30 cleaning charge.

**PETS! Airbnb may only charge you for the 1st pet, you will be requested to send an additional $50 plus tax ($53) per pet. Our pet policy is $50/pet plus tax plus an additional one time cleaning charge of $30. If Airbnb does not collect this amount you are still responsible. We're respecting your pet, so please respect our pet policy. Clean up after your pet, please do not allow pets on furniture. Please keep kenneled if left alone. If your pet barks when you are gone, please do not leave it alone.

Cozy cabin in woods

This place was perfect for our girls trip with our dogs. Spacious inside and great outdoor area that is remote and perfect for enjoying. Fireplace inside was great since was not exactly fire outside weather. Would recommend and stay again! Love the deck spaces too, especially for star gazing.

Cozy Cabin

We loved this property for a short getaway. Very peaceful! We enjoyed cozying up in front of the fire stove and playing cards and battleship. We would definitely stay again! The only downside to this property was the sulfur aroma from the water, which we would assume is fed from a well in a location this remote.

Sweet Haven in the Forest

The cabin was spacious and the location is very private. There were plenty of towels and the bed was comfy. I wish we had more time to explore the area around the cabin. A beautiful 15 minute drive to Munising. Will come back.

Quiet wooded property

It was a very quiet, secluded area near Munising where we had our activities planned. Easy drive to Munising. Adequate space for our family. Definitely a place to unplug and enjoy the great outdoors. The only thing I didn't think of, and worth mentioning is that it is obviously on a well since it is so secluded. If you are not a fan of well waters would recommend planning for that.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I did have a few frustrations. Theres a pretty strong odor, guessing it's the water. Great fireplace but we didn't leave anything to get it started. We had a long day and went to the store for steaks and the grill seemed to have a gas leak and we couldn't get it working so had to bake the steaks. All that being said it's a great location and for the price its fair. Great value. I left early and woud not use again.

Could be updated inside. Had some cheap repairs done but it was ok as we weren’t there really all that much. Couch wouldn’t recline as it was electic. No place to plug in a cord.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice cabin but the ceiling fan didn't work and it was very humid in there. Had to go buy a circulation fan. It had a deck off the second floor bedroom but it was all rotten wood and not safe. Also it was infested w bats under the wood siding and there was bat guano all over the deck. The water stunk really bad. It had a nice view of a lake down the hill but everything was so overgrown you could not see it and there was no path to get to it. I thought it was overpriced. They say $174/night but then hit you up w all these maintenance fees ends of closer to $400/night. It was very secluded and relaxing however in the little time we actually spent there.

Great Cabin in the Woods!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is new to the rental world and has a few little growing pains but overall, was an excellent place to stay. Very clean, pretty well equipped overall and the wood burner was very effective. A few things that need attention are the lack of hangers in any closets, no dresser or drawers for clothes-lived out of the suitcase & no shelves or drawers in the restrooms for toiletries. As is typical in the area, the well water has a distinct odor so the cabin would benefit greatly by adding a water softener. The parking area is large and pretty easily navigated with a trailer and the plowing of the drive is excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedding and towels are a nice quality and comfortable. The bedrooms need night stands on each side as many people require CPAP machines and it would be nice to have a close place for phones, tissues etc. near the bed. Trail heads 7 and 8 are proximate to the cabin although the feeders do not get grooming attention and are very bumpy but easily accessed. We would stay here again, it is a nice, private and clean cabin that addresses most of your vacation needs.

A buddy and myself came up for the weekend and had a blast snowmobiling the local area. The house was perfect and actually bigger than we expected. Planning on bringing our familes up there next year.

Had The worst experience on a vacation

First of all i waited for 2 hours and a half outside in the cold calling the manager trying to get the house key. After all that we entered the house and it had no curtains. The water smelled like fish in the sink and on the bathroom. When we took a shower there was no hair dryer, also the oven didn’t work. The lights were over dimmed,

We absolutely loved the cabin and my young kids thought it was the coolest place to stay. The cabin is large giving us plenty of space. It has a nice outdoor dining and grilling area. The location was perfect for making multiple same day trips to pictured rocks national park and day trips to Marquette and NewBerry. Highly recommend staying.

Reviewer Comments: We loved the location had a great stay house was clean the bed in the loft was real nice but the bunk bed mattresses need up graded the staff was helpful and friendly wish you could check in earlier for the price it costs to rent the only down fall was we could here bats in the attic never seen them in the house luckily the back side of cabin is in some need for repairs
