"Beautiful views in the morning. Great breakfast with incredibly kind staff. They also have their own Tuk Tuk that can take you down to the boat area to see the other villages or down into the town for only 15 Quetzales a person - or its about a 30 minute walk. "
"Enjoyed my stay at Art & Coffee. Owned by expat Americans living their dream. Very positive and friendly people. Large single story rooms with outdoor patios. I opted to eat at the adjacent cafe inidgo every morning - which has great food and waterfront view. "
"This hotel is the best! The view on Lake Atitlan is beautiful! The hotel is well located, easy to access, comfortable, clean, excellent wifi, very helpful staff. We loved our stay at Villa Santa Catarina. "
"Very calm environment. The staff are wonderful. I traveled there with my two tween daughters and they had a blast jumping into the lake from the dock. "
"Walkable, DOES NOT include breakfast if reserved via Expedia. Located in safe area, they have security and restaurant is next to hotel in same property. Friendly staff, wifi "
"A lot of stairs to the rooms. No A/C, no screens on the doors so you have to close the doors and gets a little hot. Beautiful scenery of the lake from the rooms. Birds singing in the morning. Cafeteria is facing the lake. Beautiful "

Mountainous treks, artistic pursuits and scuba diving; the towns, villages and volcanoes that surround this picturesque lake in Guatemala's highlands offer adventure and culture.
"Beautiful hotel on a beautiful property. We loved the location, the big blue slide, and the hammocks. Staff were all very nice. The restaurant was a bit pricey so did not eat there. We were supposed to get free drinks but unfortunately we were not told it was for only certain types so ended up paying. Walkable to many restaurants, souvenirs, and ferry docks/boats. A little warm at night in the room but slept with the windows open and felt very safe. Bed was a bit too firm. Overall, would stay here again.

"I absolutely loved the hotel and property. The area of San Marcos wasn’t for me personally but I enjoyed the amenities of the hotel and the staff were always amazing and so sweet. The views are also … breathtaking "

The staff here are truly exceptional—especially bartender Fede, manager Andrea, and Stephanie. They went above and beyond to be flexible and accommodating during an excruciating personal time for me, and I’ll never forget their kindness. The place itself is a total respite, offering unobstructed views of the volcano and lake—absolutely breathtaking, million-dollar views at an affordable price. The Lebanese cuisine is excellent, a refreshing and delicious break from the local fare. Combine that with outstanding service, and you have the perfect escape.

"This property is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life. Breathtaking gardens, delicious food and drinks (amazing wine offerings) and everyone was so friendly. Everything about this property is fabulous!"
