West Shore Park

Unfortunately this hotel was not as fancy as is described or I expected/wanted. The foyer is spectacular but the rooms are very basic & disappointing. Our room did not have a sofa chair or the bed ottoman bench. The bathroom was very outdated. Also there were people that lingered outside the hotel all day, everyday. The only thing that helped was the nice & friendly staff but definitely not worth the price especially with valet parking too.

The staff and room was amazing!! We will be back again.

My initial impression of sonesta was not a great one. Parking was confusing and not clear on the website. When we entered the lobby there was a line of people waiting for a rep to reach the desk. They claim to be waiting up to 10 minutes. It was only one front desk associate in one valet person available. So there was a wait time in the lobby walking to our room was kind of like a maze as the hallway zigzag most of the time we were at the end of the hallway. The rugs in the hallway had rolls in them (popping up front rh floor board. I would not suggest someone who uses a walker or a cane to walk the hallway of sonesta. I was aware that there was no breakfast. And was prepared to eat out. The restaurant attached to the hotel was just as bad as the front desk experience. I did have a interaction with another my desk was associate and it was plain no real customer service provided throughout this day from the two front desk associates I interacted with. There was a man maybe maintenance that did provide customer service and was polite. We visit Baltimore often and this sonesta location would not be my first choice. Overall pricing was okay the room was clean housekeeping was polite. 3.5 stars
