Summary:
Location Location Location! Sprawling Classic home in the Heart of West Hartford Center. Enjoy coffee in the morning and wine in the evening on a large deck with a gas firepit seating 6 and a gas grill. Relax and unwind in a free-standing deep soak tub in the master bathroom. It's within walking distance to the center, making it convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. This home gets professionally cleaned after each guest. All new mattresses, pillows, sheets, towels, interior paint.

All bedrooms on second level

Guest Access:
You will access to the whole house. The washer and dryer are in the basement.

Getting Around:
Everything is 5-10 min walking distance or 5 min drive.

Other Things to Note:
On a main road, due to Police station on the same street, sirens do go by the house at anytime. You are allowed to park 3 cars in the driveway, and no overnight off-street parking is allowed, or you will get a ticket. Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm street parking is allowed.

Great Escape
In town for our daughters graduation. The home was perfect in every way! Clean, all rooms are a good size, nicely situated kitchen, beautiful deck for socializing, our guests did not feel like we were on top of each other. Plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies. Everything in good working condition. The home has antique charm with updated benefits. The host Mark was easy to communicate with. We walked to town and loved every part of our weekend! Its a must! Thank you Mark for sharing Trout Brook!

Perfect for my weekend trip
The location was amazing! Although on a busy street, it was quiet and still a perfect walking distance from everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants just a few blocks away. The host was super easy to reach and the home was clean and well stocked with essentials.

Beautiful Home Close to Downtown West Hartford
The house was exactly as pictured - beautiful and super clean! The beds were also very comfortable, showers had great water pressure, and it was a quick walk to the main area of downtown West Hartford with delicious restaurants and fun shops. I also enjoyed walking my dog on the Trout Brook Trail, just across the little river from the house! I’d definitely stay here again in the future.

Felt Like Home
Quaint historic property, perfect for our stay in the West Hartford area. Situated conveniently to the town center with easy access to the highway. Property was well equipped with basic amenities, very well maintained and clean, spacious rooms with tasteful decor, lots of attention to detail. We felt very comfortable staying at this property and hope to revisit someday.

Exceeded My expectations
I don’t even know where to start!! While making our reservation I had issues with Affirm and then VRBO and yet Mark had infinite patience. When I thought I was inconveniencing everyone, he just kept saying “no worries”. I should’ve known that was a sign of things to come. Perfect and friendly communication Spotless home Easy checkin and checkout Responding to questions within minutes Little details that made a huge difference Beautiful home ! The bathrooms had more than a bough towels and full sized toiletries! There were also small toiletries in case you forgot something (toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kit, shaving cream, etc) The bedrooms had chargers with three types of connections on each nightstand. Coffee and water bottles in the kitchen Board games and cards in the living room The kitchen command center has all the time information you would need for events and info about West Hartford. Walking distance to stores and restaurants! There were absolutely no shortcuts taken. If I need to return to West Hartford I will not hesitate to rebook!! Mark, thank you for the best VRBO experience we have ever had!!

Great stay in lovely home close to West Hartford center
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mark's home. The home is beautifully appointed, recently remodeled, and was sparkling clean. Many added amenities such as chargers on all the bedside tables, an umbrella doorside, water in the refrigerator, coffee, etc. The beds were comfortable and all bedding, towels, etc. were new. Bathrooms had nice touches such as extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. if you had forgotten to bring them. Despite being near the police station, we found the home to be quiet throughout our stay. It's very close to West Hartford center and all the shops/restaurants that are offered there. Would love to stay again!

Wonderful home in West Hartford
Steps away from great shopping, bars and restaurants at Blue Back Square and charming West Hartford. Spotlessly clean, quality linens, comfy beds and an array of little details you don’t see in an average Vrbo. Mark has created an oasis. We would happily return and plan to. 😀
