Perfect for what we needed

Justin did a great job of communication before and during our stay. The room we used was perfect for our family of 5 the night before we left on a charter. Would definitely stay again.

Fort Recovery

This property is run down and needs a lot of work. It is on the water but not a beach that you would actually want to hang out on. The pictures on VRBO are of another unit which is similar but on another floor, with different furniture and a much more obscured view. It’s three bedrooms but the entrance is through one of them. So whoever stays in that bedroom has to be okay using it as the entrance and exit. Check in procedures were very confusing. I was never contacted with any info so I had to contact the manager for details. One cleaning lady was the rudest person I’ve ever met in any of my travels. The positives: the owner/managers were very nice and tried to make up for problems we had.They had the room ready for us two hours early and held our luggage in the meantime so we could kill time at a nearby marina. The apartment was large and the bedrooms had great AC. The kitchen was stocked well with tools and there was a nice library. The beds were comfortable.

We booked our 3bed 3 bath waterfront villa for only one night as we were in the BVI for a 5 day sailing charter which departed the following day. The owner met us in the parking lot to make sure we could find the unit and answer any questions. That doesn’t happen every day. The place had three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the beds were all king sized. It was spacious and perfect for our party of 3 couples. The AC worked great, and the place was spotless. The best part was that the beach was 10 yards from our back door and the view was stunning from our back porch. Fort Recovery was just a one night stop over but we will be back for a longer stay!

Post sailing RECOVERY

Following a week of charter boat sailing, our group chose sweet repose to decompress in the sweet surroundings of Fort Recovery. Hot showers unlimited, air conditioned comfort, and a chance to finish off the provisions purchased for our sailing trip—we enjoyed the lull in the action before we rejoined the madding airport frenzy in returning stateside.

A pre-charter option-

Flying in from several points in the US, three couples wanted to to decompress a bit before hopping on our Sunsail boat for a week. The upside, three baths en suite and a gorgeous view of the sound from a living room/dining room/kitchen area. The downside, we needed taxi service to access restaurants and other amenities.

Misleading and Overpriced

Our family stayed here for two nights at the tail end of our BVI boating adventure. It was not as advertised. The entire condo complex is so incredibly old and in a poor and run down part of town. Our unit was extremely clean, yet very aged with limited kitchen supplies. Refrigerator was not cold. No A/C in common area. The photos online did not represent reality.

pleasant, clean and cozy accommodation

Perfect accomodation. .We appreciated very much the approach of Justin, he communicated quickly and was very helpful ( eg.in solving wifi issue) accommodation was suitable for our Sailing group / proximity of Nanny Cay Marina . We also appreciated housekeeping / perfect cleanliness. The rooms are spacious, the AC worked great. location by the sea is ideal for those who do not want to move to more distant beaches.
