If you want to visit the medieval town centre of Wernigerode, leave the car at home and take the castle train, for example, which starts every morning in front of the holiday park. The colourful, up to 600-year-old half-timbered houses, the 500-year-old town hall, the castle, the smallest half-timbered house, which is open as a museum, and the "Krummelsche Haus" are world-famous and will also inspire you. Whether you want to go for short walks or extensive hikes: the Harz hiking area with its forests, lakes and streams is right on your doorstep. Discover interesting day trips to the mines, the Hexentanzplatz (witches' dancing place) near Thale or the cathedral in Halberstadt. Our tip for families: In the miniature park "Kleiner Harz" you can see more than 50 miniature constructions of the most famous buildings in the Harz.
