Basic cottage. Clean. Great WiFi. Close to all Wellfleet restaurants galleries and shops. A little worn around the edges. Beds need upgrade. Bathroom door hits shower which is cramped. Awesome water pressure.

Cozy retreat

Our stay was what we needed. Directly across the street from the beach, a cozy cottage, short walk to restaurants. Sunrises and sunsets, no better way to cloae out the summer.

Perfect location

We had a great time here on vacation! Perfect location for our family. Very charming cottage and a short walk to the beach. The outdoor space with the picnic bench and grill was great. Took off a star for cleanliness due to mold on the lampshades and air conditioner units. The bedrooms smelled musty. Overall, we loved our stay here!

Cute beach cabin in Wellfleet

This was a cute little beach cabin. It's a little smaller and sparser than it looks in the listing, and I felt that it was slightly overpriced for how sparse it is. Adding an extra touch of sample size hygiene products in the bathroom and some restaurant menus, etc., would go a long way. The beach across the street is little and cute. Wellfleet itself is a cute tiny town, and it was quiet when we were there. I think I would have preferred something a little closer to the mid cape area, but thats just my preference. My wife and I are super picky about beds, and we actually slept pretty comfortable on the twin beds.

Excellent area!

The cottage was very nice and clean. Comfortable and spacious. Outside area was a decent space. Distance to the beach was just across the street.

Cape Cod

The unit has flaws. it was very cold and the Heater did not work as described in the welcome package. We turned the thermostat up as instructed and nothing happen. The rug in the front room should be removed or taped down. It’s a major trip hazard. We actually rolled it up while staying there so that wouldn’t happen. After the first night, I woke up to find one of the pillow cases was filthy, and not from me. It obviously wasn’t cleaned from previous guest. I took a picture of the dirty pillowcase, but cannot seem to paste to this review. There are 4 remotes on the cocktail table with no instruction for any of them. After the first day, we realized the cable box has been unplugged probably from the cleaning crew and after connecting that, we could see some of the local stations.

Great location and exactly as advertized

We had a great stay! Directly across the street from a really nice beach and within walking distance to several restaurants. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal at home as well. I would recommend!

Enjoyable stay!!

Location, Location, Location! The location just behind Mayo Beach was superb. Easy walking distance to the Pier, the Bookstore/Bomb Shelter Pub and Uncle Tim's Bridge and Island. The house was perfectly clean when we arrived and we tried to leave it how we found it when we departed. There were aspects to the house that could use some updating (blinds, TV (which we never were able to get to work). Wellfleet is a bit quiet in April (as we expected), but we still had the chance to visit some great restaurants! We might return at some point, again in the offseason, Spring or Fall.

Cute and cozy

This is such a cute little house directly across from the harbor. We enjoyed our beach walks on both the harbor as well as the harbor which included lots of seal sightings. The house is cheerful with comfortable beds and furniture. There are tons of channels to watch on the rainy days as well. We enjoyed our week in Wellfleet!

Prime Location!

We came to Wellfleet for a wedding and stayed for the weekend. The cottage is as described and is located right on Mayo beach within walking distance to many restaurants and the harbor. The property management team makes sure that you have everything you need and maintains very thorough communication.

Location. Location. And not much else.

As someone that owns property and businesses, I do not like leaving negative reviews. But given we stayed here for two weeks, it was too infuriating to not leave an honest assessment… Good stuff - Location next to the beach. Access to local parks, restaurants, cafes etc. Really excellent. - Beach is lovey when the tide is high. Not too busy either. - Bathroom and shower are ok - Nice people nearby - locals and tourists Not good stuff… - This place is tiny. Far too small for a family with three small kids. 1-2 kids or a couple max. - No black out blinds means everyone is awake at 5am. The family in the cottage next to us left a day early as none of them could sleep. - Not clean at all on arrival. They did resolve this after week one. - Given we stayed two weeks, we requested a vacuum that never materialised until day 12. - Cable and fireplace not working - not resolved in TWO weeks!! - The kitchen is old and the stove wasn’t working. It was fixed. Then someone randomly turned up two days later to replace it without anyone telling us 🤷🏽‍♂️ - The managing agent is polite but a nightmare to get a hold of. I got the sense they just can’t cope with the amount of properties they manage meaning customers are annoyed all of the time. In summary, fine for a weekend or maybe 5 days. Any more then you’ll experience what we did. Given the insane cost for two weeks, the service was pretty terrible. They say you get what you pay for… but we certainly didn’t. Would return to Wellfleet no doubt but not this place. If you have money to burn, like the black and are not claustrophobic… this could be a good shout.

Such potential for an absolutely amazing cottage! Sadly, kitchen not up to par (needs updates), closets full of junk, etc….just expected a little more. Bring your own linens for peace of mind. Also bring your own plates, cutlery, cookware if dining in.

Convenient Check In Steps Away from Calm Beach

Our group enjoyed the cozy cottage and closeness to restaurants and things to do. The check in was super easy and keyless, which was appreciated after a long trip. We had a blast and can’t wait to visit Cape Cod again soon.

Walkable Wellfleet

We loved the location of this property—it’s so close to the pier, downtown restaurants, the playground and skate park, and the beach. It was a great fit for our young kids (2.5 and 5) especially as one was apt to nap and the location made it easy to find something fun for one of us to do with our older kiddo.
