Very charming place to stay not too far from Madison. It’s right above a coffee shop so a morning drink and breakfast sandwich became part of the routine, they also have a keurig available for guests upstairs at no cost if you don’t want to buy. The room was very clean and the space is very quiet and peaceful.
Perfect little boutique hotel. Mobile check in was so easy. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and beautiful. Great location in downtown Waunakee. Highly recommend staying here.
Cool place to stay. Really nice coffee restursnt below it. Lots of other nice dining within a few blocks. I didn't realize it was an online checkin process. So make sure you watch to see if they or the company you booked through emails you because your room code to get in the building and your room will come that way. We called them from the phone number we googled for the Mill, and the person was very helpful and got us the code to get in quickly. Was sort of weird that we had a 3 pm check in and the gal cleaning the place was still cleaning our room after 3. We sat in the waiting area and got into our room around 3:45.
This property is amazing. My room had a queen size very comfortable bed, a small desk and refrigerator and a lovely large bathroom with walk in shower. Just outside the room door was a sitting area with 2 leather couches chairs and an electric fireplace. There was also a small counter with a coffee maker and ice machine. The coffee shop downstairs had great coffee and a wonderful breakfast brunch menu. There is a Deck off the back of the coffee shop and a picnic area. I loved the trails and parks nearby plus it’s located downtown so shopping is just a few steps away. Can’t wait to go back.
The history of the building, the decor, and the coffee shop are beautiful and charming. I love the architecture and the simple yet well designed theme of the entire building.
Great stay here as a couple. Communication was timely and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was a fantastic plus as well as the brewery across the street. Parking is easy and onsite. I would recommend!
Great, unique place to stay. Very clean and updated. The feel of an Airbnb. Lots of walkable places to go check out with a coffee shop just below.

The room was clean & comfortable. The stairs & porch needed cleaning. The room had no cup/glass for teeth brushing. Also it’s is above a coffee shop, but they don’t open on Saturday till 8 & 7 on weekdays, and there’s no in room coffee. I really needed morning coffee, but didn’t get it.

The room was clean. The hotel itself is super cute! Check-in was very easy with the directions. The walls are a little thin so if someone else is checking in you can hear suitcases rolling down the hallway but it didn’t bother us.
Beautiful quaint little hotel. Everything was very comfortable, with welcoming minimalist decor. Excellent communication! Looking forward to staying again in the future.
I liked it that it was like an AirB&B. No check in just use the combo and go to the room. Only there for one night but it was great. Mexican Food place across the street was awesome.
Our overall experience was incredible. They kept us updated and made it super easy to check in. The room was ready, clean, comfortable and safe. Selfishly a Lonely Girl Brewery was right across the street. We got good food and beer. I highly recommend this place for future stays.
The room was so cozy and the beds and pillows were so comfortable!! Very clean and the shower was awesome!! We will be back! The food downstairs in the coffee shop was delicious, the only complaint is that they did not have decaf coffee.
Our room was EXACTLY as pictured and absolutely pristine. Very stylish and comfortable! We loved the quaintness of this boutique hotel and the breakfast at the cute coffee shop downstairs was amazing!! The hotel is off the road a bit but within walking distance of some really cute establishments - wine bar, restaurant/pub with rooftop seating, ice cream parlor. We wished we could have stayed two nights!
