This house is very spacious and the view is even better in person than in the pictures. Upon checking in I noticed the surfaces (coffee table, corners of floor, and laundry room) had sand and regular house hold dust on them. It made me nervous about how thorough the whole house had been cleaned, but the sheets and towels had been freshly laundered, which is my main concern. This is a pet friendly house, and there is some dog hair in the couch material and blankets. Just the normal amount that doesn't ever want to come out with a vacuum. That is why I gave the cleanliness 3 stars and not more. What I was unhappy most with was that I tried multiple times to communicate with the vacation rental people who manage this property and never got a response. I made my reservations at least 3 weeks in advance. I instantly got a email saying VRBO would not be processing my payment so I need to email my CVV code to the property managers, or call them. It made me nervous to email, so I tried to call. I got their message machine so I left a message for them to call me back so they could process my payment. No call back. I called again the next week and left a message. No one called back. Everything seemed legit, so I went ahead and emailed my CVV code I had used when I book through VRBO. Before I ever booked the place I had questions about the beds and the amount of parking spaces. I sent a message through VRBO and I called and left a message. I think I called about 4 times and left messages, and never got an answer back. For any future travelers, there are three parking spots and a hide a bed in the living room. But we left for the trip taking a chance and hoping for the best. Not something I like to do when going to a brand new place. Finally, 2 days before we left on our trip, payment was processed and we got emailed a confirmation with check in instructions, and check out instructions. To recap. I got notified as soon as I book to VRBO that I needed to send more payment info. I was sent a confirmation and my credit card was charged 2 days before we left. I was emailed check in and out instructions. But I never got any responses to all my inquired. Not my e-mailed one. Not my phone messages. And not my VRBO messages. Luckily there were not issues that had to be addressed. So we had a good time at this beach house.
