Very welcoming, thank you for the coffee and cookies! Unit was very well appointed, clean, terrific location. Host very responsive to our initial comments. Best surprise was whale watching from the lanai at breakfast! As well as the canoe club.

Great place Great location

Views are lovely, beds comfortable, place was clean, location was wonderfully quiet and 15-20 minutes from restaurants in Kihei. Central location for upcountry and West Maui. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked as well. Some lovely snacks were there upon arrival. The only drawback was that the air conditioning unit was small. The bedrooms were fairly warm at night even with fans and windows open.

Beauty and the Beast

Upon arrival the main bedroom had sand or dirt in the bed and hair particles. Overall the condo was nice and the view was nice. Because bed was dirty it lead my mind to believe the condo was not properly cleaned. I washed all the sheets myself properly.

Time Well Spent

Welll appointed! Beautifully clean. We would stay here again and are planning to re-book next year. Our trip couldn’t have been better. Whale watching was beyond belief! Thanks for a perfect vacation!

Could be better

This condo is all about the ocean view. Fabulous. Pool and barbecue are great also. Yes it is windy. All day, every day. Not that big of a deal for us. Bathrooms were good. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was good. Washer/dryer was good. Unit is a little dated but not bad. Now the bad. There is no A/C in the unit. The small window unit is useless in the living area and there is a note above it saying to not use it anyway. You can prop open the front door and the wind will blow through like a freight train to help cool off the living room. 2 bedrooms, one in front, one in back. We used the one in front. The only window wouldn’t open so no air flow in there. Thank God for the ceiling fan, box fan, and small fan on each night stand. Even with those we still slept with no covers on. The ceiling fan light chain didn’t work and 2 of the 4 bulbs were missing. I had to unscrew and rescrew the 2 bulbs to turn them off and on. There was no place to plug our phones and my CPAP on the night stands. I had to buy an extension cord and move the bed to plug it in and then plug my stuff in. There’s a window in line with the pillows. The blinds are fabric and useless. The first morning at 5:30am the whole room lights up from the sun. I had to hang a folded sheet to cover it. To the owners, fix the ceiling fan/fans. They are cheap to buy. Put an alarm clock/USB/outlet on each nightstand. It’s 2023 for Gods sake and people want to plug in their phones and CPAPs.

It’s ok.

The condo is outdated. Beds and living room furniture need to be updated, so uncomfortable! There is one A/C unit in the living room which pushes out very minimal air. And the rest of the unit is so stuffy it’s hard to breath when you try to sleep. Fans are provided which helped some! The pool was the best part of the condo, unless you have kids. The people seem stuck up, and lots of rules.

Great location

We always choose to stay on Maalaea because it is a central location and an easy starting point to wherever we want to go. This condo was very nice, clean and had a great view. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Excellent location for island adventures

We stayed with another couple and the layout was perfect. The place was clean, well apportioned and the turtles that come on the beach each night were an added bonus.

The area is dry and dusty not green or lush not like other areas on Maui. Inadequate AC, old bed in master, and lots of deferred maintenance.

Great view with nice updates.

Great view and layout. Nicely updated and comfy beds. Was 88 every day for 2 weeks and didn't need ac once. Keep in mind it'll be breezy, extremely. Some of the beach equipment was pretty shot and only had 2 chairs for a 2 bedroom that was disappointing since we had 4 adults. But overall happy with the stay

Great view and very quiet complex.

This was a perfect fit for our visit. Traveling with an elder that doesn't do well with steps, and having an elevator was great. The view was fantastic and enjoyed watching the surfers. Nice to be centrally located between Kihei and Lahaina, but without all the crowds. We look forward to a return visit!

Maui Vacation

Our family chose Maui for a family vacation to celebrate Christmas and our recent retirements. The location of this condo is excellent. The 6th floor offers incredible views of the ocean and the whales! The condo was clean and supplied with the essentials. We would stay in this condo again!

Nice central location

The location is in a nice central location to be able to explore the island. Very little within walking distance of the condo as far as dining and shopping. It is a short walk to the Haycraft park with nice beach access. This is definitely the windiest part of the island but the lanai is situated to largely protect you from the wind and the wind made the air conditioner unnecessary in December. The other thing I haven't seen mentioned is that the condo is right under the flight path for the planes landing at the airport and can get loud at busy times of the day. The building is very dated but the condo is clean and well stocked. Overall it was a good experience!

Super clean comfy location

Extremely clean property, unit and pool. The unit was very well maintained and stocked with any amenity you might need. In case you're not familiar with this region, it is a windy location. It was actually nice in keeping you cool on the warmer days. It was also nice to not have to pay additional fees for parking. Great stay!

Nice Location

Great location but needs a couple of fixes. The air conditioning needs to be better, the master room sounds horrible at night when it’s windy, and the tv needs to be better in handling.

Great location / views. Also very windy and needs upgrades.

We stayed for 8 days and the location is great. The views are beautiful the pool is well maintained. That is where the plusses end however. The first few days of our stay there was an unrelenting windstorm. I mention this because some of the windows of the apartment are not full pane but have adjustable overlapping slats. So the two option were to close them and let the wind howl or to open them and sleep in a wind tunnel. Fortunately for the remaining days the wind died down. Just as a point of reference Maalaea has a huge wind farm visible from the balcony. The apartment when we arrived had cleanliness issues: coffee-maker, washing machine, glasses were all uncleaned. There was also a thick musty smell when we arrived. The AC was connected to a non functioning electrical outlet which I fixed. However the condensed water from the window-mounted AC was not properly drained but it had a tray underneath that you had to periodically empty!!! The dishwasher was also out of service during our stay.
