Long Weekend with Family

The house was close to Boone and Blowing Rock, perfect location to explore the area. The house was spacious, beds were comfortable, and the view was beautiful!

Christmas in the mountains

We loved our stay in Blue Moon Lodge. The house was well stocked and decorated for the holidays. The hot tub was great and the house was clean. Everything worked. We loved the pool table and all the beds were comfortable.We will definitely consider staying again.

Spectacular Mountain Views

Very easy check in. Cabin is very neat and clean. The views are amazing. If you want to just relax this is the place for you. There’s plenty to do all around. Has an amazing time with our family.

Incredible View

We love this property. We have stayed here twice and the whole family has loved it. The beds and pillows are VERY comfortable, the pool table is great for teens and the view cannot be beat. Having coffee and just staring at the view was something we enjoyed for hours every morning. Highly recommend!

Stayed at this property for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint. The home is cozy, beautifully decorated and has views that are amazing! We loved the fire pit, hot tub and pool table to help make the visit so fun and relaxing!

This place is amazing. Gorgeous views all around. Sipping coffee on the deck is such a great way to start your day. End the night with a dip in the hot tub or a game of pool. I can’t rave enough about how perfect this place was for our getaway.

Peace & tranquility

This house was a beautiful place to stay as we dropped our daughter off at App State. You feel like you’re miles away in the country and yet only 5 min to downtown Boone and all the amenities you need. Views were gorgeous, house was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed! We will be back again

Wonderful location and beautiful views

We took our teenagers and 2 of their friends and we all loved the house. The pool table was fun and we played board games as well. The hot tub was very nice with its own fantastic view and at night you can see lots of stars. The house was close enough to get to Boone quickly but far enough away to feel more remote. The porch was nice with lots of seating and we enjoyed the mornings and evenings out there. Close to tubing, shopping in Boone, Grandfather Mountain and even biking the Creeper Trail in Virginia. Great place to stay.

Could use a good cleaning

Check in very easy. Getting to property easy minus large washed out gully in drive way- definitely need larger truck/vehicle to go across to not drag. House was good inside. Had to run dishwasher couple of times with coffee mugs and frying pans to clean—- maybe cleaners thought dishwasher had been run or renters did not put in dishwasher cleaner. Hot tub had not been serviced. Crumbs in lazy susans. Left a day early. It was okay . Will not return. I will say owner quick to respond but I am queen of cleanliness and will not send every tiny issue to owner as it is their property and they maintain to their standards.

This was really one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in- if it's available for your dates, book it now, seriously. the views were incredible and are even better in real life. the cabin was adorable and perfect for our family of 5 (three young kids). thoughtful touches and very tidy/clean. we are very grateful we chose to stay here!
