ベネチアのほぼ中心に位置しており、徒歩で観光地へ移動しやすく、とてもいい立地でした。入り口は少しわかりにくいですが、水上バスの乗り場など事前にメールで教えてくれ、更にGoogle mapを使えば、ほぼ間違えることはないと思います。部屋の中はとてもきれいでしたが、隣の建物ととても近く隣接しているので、窓からは相手側の壁しか見れず、やや閉塞感がありました。日中ほぼ外出しているなら、問題はないと思います。部屋はけっこう狭めでした。置いてある小物が可愛かったです。金庫は壊れていて使用できませんでした。基本、フロントデスクにスタッフの人はいませんでした。パソコンの画面があり、遠隔でチェックインなどを行いました。チェックアウト後に荷物を預かってほしいとメールでお願いしたところ、清掃の方が対応してくれました。ですので、常時スタッフの方が待機しているわけではないので、その辺りが気になる方にはお勧めできないかもしれません。

とても快適に過ごせる宿です。お風呂の換気扇が上手く回らなかったのが唯一のマイナスであとは行き届いた感じでした。 重たい荷物をスタッフが階段をあげてくれて助かりました！

路地裏に溶け込む現地の家的なホテル。 女性の好みが随所に散りばめられているホテル。 多少、朝は真ん前の運河のゴミ収集船の音がうるさいけれど、それもまるでここに住んでいるかのような気にさせます。ホテル１階の入り口はとても分かりにくいですが、発見的な楽しみがあります。従業員はほとんどいないので、事前にホテルと十分に打ち合わせして、従業員がいる時間を設定しておく必要があります。

こじんまりとした親切なゲストハウス
ベネチア本島の中心に位置し、サンマルコ広場などどこにでもアクセスしやすいです。リアルト橋から割と近めで、レストランが多く、またホテル近くにはスーパーもあります。ただすぐ隣に建物があるため部屋の窓からは景色は見えませんでした。受付が常駐してないため、チェックイン時間が14:00-19:00です。何時に到着するか事前に確認メールがありました。google map上でホテルの場所がわかりにくいですが、船の番号、降り場など、細かくアクセス方法を教えてもらえました。部屋にはコーヒー、ジュース、水、クロワッサンなど用意されており全て無料です。 シャンプー等一通り揃ってますが、妻にはシャンプーが合わなかったようで、用意しておいた方が良いかもしれません。

The hotel was difficult to find, a doorway on a small street or alley, we walked past it. There are stairs from the water bus to the hotel, hard if you have large baggage, no ramps. Check in was remote, and it went well. then you must go up one flight of stairs. again - difficult with baggage. Room was quite small but adequate. there is a closet - takes a lot of space and blocks art of the room, better if it was removed! Room was clean and nice. breakfast is instant coffee and pastry in a package. we ate breakfast and meals out, but quite expensive. Venice is expensive! You must pay a city tax in cash! $4 EU per night per person. you can do this during your stay or at checkout. The location was quiet, there was a window, but no view, just a wall. Bathroom and shower was small but adequate, no issues. Check out we did see a person, and was quite fast. overall - a good stay, Venice is a beautiful city!

This hotel is in a great location. We were right in the middle of everything we wanted to see while in Venice. The room was very small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. It was perfect for us as we don't spend a lot of time in a hotel room while traveling so we really just want a comfy bed, safety, walking convenience, and cleanliness. All of these things were checked off! Just note that they only take cash for the tax you pay on arrival. Not a big deal, we just don't carry cash so we had to find an ATM first.

We absolutely loved our stay. The area is very quiet and in a central location. The rooms were clean and the perfect size for our stay. The virtual check in was very simple, we arrived at 10:30pm and had no problem getting checked in, and checking out virtually was also very simple. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved everything about the whole experience , room was amazing and could not ask for anything better , I could of sat at the window looking out for hours and hours, I spent a good few hours at the window just gazing out and watching people go by , amazing view , my son also loved the room too , thank you so much 😊

Beautiful location, very easy to locate when coming into town. And while it was so close to Rialto Bridge, it was peaceful and we always felt safe. The decor is traditional and adds to the magic of being in Venice. We would stay here again if we return to Venice.

Our stay was great. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was amazing. They were even able to help me when I locked myself out. The only thing is the signage could be better as we walked the street three times until we realised 1740 was the houses name.

They do not clean the room, and when they do it very very poorly, they say that it is not a hotel.......it is a hostel at a good hotel price.........absolutely recommendable, the worst thing was the lack of cleaning of the room

Dear Guest, thank you for expressing your opinion.Cleaning is available every day with change of towels and sheets when requested, of course that if you leave the "don't disturb" sign in front of your door or leave your room in the afternoon this will not be done. The house keeping will still knock on your door and ask you. I really don't understand why you should declare false information about our work. What's the purpose?

The location is 30 minutes walk from Venezia s. Lucia which felt like quite the hike with the many stairs we had to go up and down and through the uneven pavement. The hotel itself was had nice vintage look, good for pictures. It was quiet, very clean inside and amenities were conveniently placed. I liked the heated towel holder. Don’t plug in your American blow drier or else you’ll destroy the electric system like I did and blow out the entire building’s electricity. The response time took a while when the lights were out but we still heard back and the problem was fixed within a couple of hours. Our room had a nice balcony. There wasn’t an elevator. There was one narrow flight of stairs up but it wasn’t too bad since we didn’t have terribly heavy luggage. The virtual front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Lovely room, very good bed, great shower. Walking distance to everything including St. Mark’s Square (6 minutes) and water bus at Rialto (9 minutes). Christine at checkin especially helpful and welcoming. Demonstrated the room’s features. Loaner umbrella welcome during the only rain we had.

We loved the elaborate vibe of the room and the size. The light fixtures were not clean and the shower wasn’t super easy to use but the view was amazing and what ended up being our favorite restaurant was at the end of the street.

Easy remote check in with attendant on zoom. It was also nice we were given more coffee pods each day and extra coffee at the desk downstairs. Like many European guesthouses in Venice (and Greece too for that matter), you will be faced with stairs. This didn’t bother us. However this could be a super little property with a few changes. 1. The beds are rock hard…see the video if I can get it to load. 2. If the housekeeper had immediately responded to requests to get a bed topper or quilts and also pillows it could have more immediately helped the bed issue. Instead I woke up with a very bad back. Other recent reviews also mention the bed. It took all day on the second day of our stay to get an extra quilt to put under the bottom sheet. No extra pillows arrived. 3. The windows did not sound like they were soundproofed. We overcame this with good earplugs. 4. We stayed in room 1. This was immediately at the top of the stairs. Hence you hear everyone going in and out. Would I stay again? No. The bed was the killer for me.

I find your comment very exaggerated. This ruins all our work over the years. Our staff was ready for your every request. Clearly some request take time not seconds. This is the first time anyone has complained about our beds. I'm sorry. I hope to see you again anyway to make you change your mind about our guest house...

This property was great to stay at. There was normally not someone at the front desk, but it didn’t really matter. There was someone on Skype (I think that’s what is was) on a monitor in the check in areas, but she didn’t respond when we said hello to her. Not sure what happened. Other than that the hotel itself is in a central location. It’s very well located, although somewhat difficult to find in the alley it’s located on.
