New Basement Private Suite - Fully Furnished, 1 BEDROOM & Futon

Completely self-contained, exterior access, separate air-system 1-bedroom suite.

Bright, newly renovated and fully furnished. Access via side of west side house, has its own separate, private patio. Full kitchenette, bathroom and in-suite laundry. Secure access through private path and patio.

Convenient location close to 33rd & Mackenzie Street gives you access to shops and transit - 200 feet from bus stop with 1-stop bus to downtown Vancouver, beaches, UBC, Pacific Spirit Park and other great amenities. There is street parking available for 1 vehicle in front of The Suite. More than 1 guest car becomes a little inconvenient for our neighbours, so we ask that if you have a vehicle, that you please park it directly in front of The Suite. City street parking in our neighbourhood is free of charge.

Radiant floor heating and modern bathroom and kitchen. There's a full fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer in suite.

Ideally suited for a single or a couple. We are also happy to accommodate couples traveling with a child.

Exceptional host and perfect place

We stayed for 10 days and the place had everything we needed. Shawn the host was very helpful and friendly and made sure that we have everything we need. The place is very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and had a nice sized freezer. The bed was comfortable. The location is very nice and the neighborhood is safe.

We loved the stay at Shawn's place. Super close to the bus stop that takes you downtown and it was a really cozy spot. There is a little store and cafe around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay

Great place! I enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a coffee shop and local grocery. Only a 12 to 15 min. drive to downtown. The owners were also amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home in a lovely neighborhood

We loved our stay here. Shawn was a kind and friendly host, all amenities were clean and easy to use. This was a great place for a couple who want to explore Vancouver. Great location with an easy by route to downtown, just outside. Highly recommend!

Everything you need in a comfortable basement suite. Shawn welcomed us and was available for any questions or requests. Very comfortable bed, large washer and dryer, bath/shower, private entrance and fully supplied kitchen - all located in a gorgeous neighborhood with two bakeries a block away!!

Perfect Taste of Vancouver

Very clean, quiet, comfortable, well-appointed unit. Beautiful patio with little table to have coffee. Great shower. Shawn, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Cafe, bakery and grocery store a block away, as well as a public bus to downtown. Highly recommended!

Family Wedding

The property was perfect for our 5 day stay. It had everything we needed and was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Kitchen was fully equipped and loved the large fridge and washer and dryer. Everything was new and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was beautiful and safe. Shawn was very accommodating and personable and even let us hang out with Jazzy, their cat. If we come back to Vancouver, we would stay again😊

Wonderful stay in basement suite!

We had such a wonderful stay in Shawn’s basement suite. The place was very tidy and spacious, and Shawn had a box of chocolates and teas and coffee waiting for us upon arrival. He was very friendly, responsive and helpful, and offered us herbs from his garden! The neighbourhood was beautiful and very safe, with lots of cute cafes nearby and is not far from kits beach. I will definitely be back!!

Vancouver stay

Shawn was very helpful and reaponsive to all of our questions. The beautifullt appointed basement apartment was just what we needed for our mini vacation prior to our cruise. The apt was very close to a great little bakery and coffee shop and also ease of use of public transportation. Thank you for a great stay!!
