Our grand tour of the Canadian Rockies ended with a delightful week here at Carriage House Farm, and it provided everything - and more - than we could have hoped for. Excellently well-equipped with everything thought of, and very comfortable indeed, the house was just what we needed for a quiet, relaxing stay. Yet being well placed for driving into Vancouver (and to get to the ferry to Victoria), but close to the excellent food & drink offerings in Fort Langley, it was an excellent base for seeing the region. Kathleen really was a great host and had thought of everything - thank you!

An easy home away from home. Peaceful country setting. Everything you might need for a lovely stay, including porch for morning coffee.Close to town and shops. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of care in maintaining place and made my stay easy with thoughtful details like coffee and tone.

My son and I had an incredible stay at this beautiful farmhouse while visiting my daughter at Trinity Western University. The property is amazingly beautiful – the grounds feel like a serene escape, with lush blueberry fields, a majestic large German Shepherd named Duke who looks out over the property, two friendly horses that we loved saying hi to each morning, and a beautiful stream that runs along the property – the Salmon River. The charming, well-maintained house exceeded our expectations and the host was amazing, super responsive and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless, comfortable and equipped with all we needed for a relaxing trip. We'd absolutely stay here again! 10/10 Exceptional.

We don’t even know where to begin praising this amazing property and overall experience. Kathleen is a fantastic host and the guest house had everything we needed and more. The surrounding property was a dream with 2 horses and a sweet German Shepherd named Duke and one of the highlights was sitting on the back patio with our coffee in the morning. If you are looking to get away from the city and have some peace and quiet, this is the place!

Outstanding host, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, peaceful and spacious blueberry farm setting, and 5 minutes to downtown Fort Langley.We would gladly come again!

Very comfortable, convenient stay

We stayed here to attend a wedding at the nearby golf course. It was perfect for our needs. What a hidden gem when you come through the tree surrounded driveway. Beautiful setting. Quiet. Clean. Modern. Comfy bed. Nice hostess basket. Bathrobe and slippers. Plenty of extra linens and towels. Relaxing back porch with firepit table and rocking chairs. We weren’t sure how to enter the property so reached out to the host before we arrived. You need to call to initially get through the gate. Highly recommend.

Special touches

We had a wonderful stay. We did the Applevalley Fondo and it was very well located for this ride. Host is wonderful and we were very impressed with all the small special touches throughout, which made this stay even more special.

Kathleen provided a comfortable and well-appointed unit with lots of nice touches. It was very peaceful and quite pleasant to be surrounded by her fields and blueberry farm. So close to Fort Langley’s centre (easy walking distance) but you’d never know it was there.

Suburban Stay

A much-loved and cared-for huge property with space, farm, and horses. While a thirty minutes drive from downtown Vancouver, this stay opened our eyes to nearby Fort Langley and riverfront parks, both rewarding.

Peaceful escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s Carriage House property. The location was perfect for us as it is quiet, within walking distance to restaurants shopping and the museum. The cottage is cosy clean and well equipped. J&M

Everything We Needed and More

We needed a place to stay, post-op, for a few days before travelling home. This location was heaven sent. An answer to my prayers for a quiet, private, peaceful place to recover. So many things we needed - like ginger tea and cookies on arrival ❤️ - and did not anticipate were either available in the unit or very close by. Kathleen, thank you, you have our deepest gratitude. We look forward to coming back for a less serious stay in the future.

Best Rental We’ve Stayed At!

Wow! Kathleen’s cottage is a dreamy retreat. It is even better than the pictures, immaculately clean, well stocked and every need has been thought of. The bed is extremely comfortable, the property is in a beautiful area, close to convenient stores and eateries but tucked away so that it feels like you are the only ones around. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful get-away where you feel loved and taken care of, you won’t find better than this lovely cottage! We were spoiled to stay here!

Best vrbo hands down in fort Langley and amazing host. Loved the chats and getting to know them. Enjoyed it immensely. Super comfy private carriage house. Clean w fully stocked kitchen. Was such a nice treat to walk around her property and see her horses and blueberry bushes that sprawl over 20 acres. Simply amazing beautiful property! Peaceful and spotless

We stayed 4 days and had a relaxing stay. The house is spotless clean, very private and peaceful. It is a few minutes drive to restaurants, ice cream and gelato, shops and antique store. The blueberry farm makes a nice view to wake up to.

Hidden gem!

Quiet, beautiful, clean and convenient. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for making meals, and had all the supplies needed. The bed was comfy, shower was hot and had lots of pressure. It was a fantastic stay!

Serenity and comfort in beautiful Fort Langley

Cannot recommend this property enough. Kathleen was a remarkable host! The site had everything we needed and was so peaceful. Lovely amenities and surroundings. Close to downtown and the Saturday Farmers Market. We would definitely stay here again :)

Lovely, quiet, blissful stay

Very well appointed, thoughtfully done. Kathleen has a gem that is super comfortable, impressively clean, and quiet. Walking distance 25 minutes to Fort Langley or stroll the lovely grounds. Anything you need is at your finger tips for a very enjoyable stay.
