King Solomon Hotel Tiberias

"Wonderful hotel with great balcony views of the Sea of Galilee. Staff were very accommodating. I ended up extending my reservation 2 additional nights due to lack of transportation out of Tiberius on shabbat and enjoyed just staying in the room all day Saturday. Cons: there was hair in the corner of shower floor (not mine) and some mold…everything else was spotless except the floors around the shower. For such a nice hotel I was surprised not to find a hair dryer or iron but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the room."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Astoria Galilee! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth, friendliness, and truly personal service. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome, and their genuine hospitality made our stay especially enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide and varied selection to suit different tastes. Everything was delicious, and the variety made starting each morning a real pleasure. What truly sets Hotel Astoria Galilee apart is the personal attention, professionalism, and sincere care shown to every guest. It is a pleasure to experience a hotel where hospitality is not just a service, but a genuine commitment. A special compliment to the entire team for making us feel so welcome and valued. The combination of outstanding personal service, warm hospitality, and an excellent breakfast makes Hotel Astoria Galilee a place worth recommending wholeheartedly. The staff are a real credit to the hotel, and we left with wonderful memories and a genuine appreciation for the experience. "Beautiful location, fabulous hotel with great facilities and good food. We had a great time. Unfortunately the the level of service for a hotel of thus calibre is very poor. Management needs to invest in some serious trainings to improve the service."

"The room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the sea. The bed was comfortable and had a great two nights of sleep. The breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of variety. The promenade was walking distance and convenient. The GM and Kim front desk manager were very good and helpful. Our tour guide had an accident and had to cancel one room on the first day. The hotel were very kind and forgave the charge for the first day and gave me a further discount for the second day. They did not have to do that, but the hotel went over and above and beyond the call of service. This is service at its best."

"Overall, the hotel was wonderful. It was a convenient location for our family to spend a week vacation in the Galilee area. There are attractions, restaurants and shops all nearby. The hotel was extremely clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner buffets have a wide variety of options. The only reason we would not stay here again was the bathroom design in the rooms. The toilet does not have a full door and the bathroom area does not have a door at all, and even has open shelving to the bedroom area that you can see and hear through, so the bathroom has essentially no privacy. I suppose if you're staying alone, it's not an issue, although still not ideal to have the toilet so open to the bedroom, but definitely consider this if you're sharing a room with anyone! Also the TV's in the rooms are older (not smart tvs) and have a small selection of channels, but there's so much to see and do in the area, it's not much of a problem. The grounds to the hotel are also wonderful with ruins, a chapel, water fountains, lots of area to roam around. We enjoyed everything about the hotel and property, except for the bathroom situation!"

"The room was clean and comfortable! The decor and furniture were a bit dated and shabby. But everything was clean in good shape. Breakfast was excellent! everything was tasty and fresh.👌 The view from the dining room is breathtaking!!! If you don't mind older amenities in all a great to place to stay, especially families with kids .😃 4 stars easy."

"The room was with plenty of space for a solo traveler. The breakfast was not included to the plan but you can find one in the hotel restaurant or on the street. I did not find staff always in the front desk so I had to make a phone call to get out my car from the parking."
