We booked this property expecting a luxury experience unfortunately, it was not. Prior to arrival, I specifically requested confirmation that the pool and jacuzzi would be clean, heated, and ready for use. Upon check-in, neither was properly heated, the water was cold, and there was visible dirt, sand, and debris. The jacuzzi was also not functioning properly due to water-level issues. Although attempts were eventually made to address the problem, the pool heat was not fully restored until days into our stay, resulting in the loss of use of one of the primary amenities we booked the property for.We also experienced persistent ant infestations in multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, with ants found on beds, floors, sinks, and other living areas despite repeated notifications. In addition, the elevator malfunctioned our entire stay, repeatedly getting stuck opening and closing, creating safety concerns and making it unusable.What was most disappointing was the dismissive and condescending response from management and the failure to adequately resolve the issues after repeated notice. They refused every opportunity to acknowledge or accommodate the inconvenience we experienced, which was especially disheartening as it detracted from our celebratory trip surrounding our film's premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.For a property marketed as a luxury accommodation, the condition, maintenance, and responsiveness fell well below expectations.
