The Nile Farmstay: Modern cabin offering incredible views with fire pit and spa.
A countryside retreat. This cabin is on top of a hill offering glorious views of the Capertee Valley. The valley is world renown for its bird-watching but this property is also a working farm so you can visit our cows, sheep, chickens or pick some fruit from the trees. We have 420 acres for you to explore with creeks, mountain bike trails and direct access to the Wollemi National Park. Our wildlife spotting includes wombats, kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas to name a few.
The cabin has its own deck and is right beside a large fire pit with an amazing view across the valley. This location is the pick of the views on the entire property. Each window in the cabin offers stunning mountain views.
We are in a secluded location if you are looking for a peaceful stay. The drive through the Capertee Valley to our property is spectacular. The only sounds you will hear are chickens, sheep, cows and the bird life.
If you enjoy hiking then explore our 420 acres which is a mix of grazing land, creeks, bush tracks, swimming holes and rainforest like gullies. Our property borders Wollemi National Park and we have direct access to it. The Glen Alice Trail & The Bicentennial Trail are hiking tracks that cross through our property.
'The Nile Farmstay' is our Facebook page if you wish to see further photos of our property.
If you enjoy swimming we have several sandy creeks, a pristine swimming hole and a heated swim spa that can accomodate large groups.
Feel free to pick the fruit that is in season from our trees. We have fig trees, lemons, persimmon, plums, pears and mulberries to name a few.
The fire pit right beside the cabin is very popular with our guests. There is a grill plate atop so you can cook dinner over the fire or enjoy watching the sunset colours on the cliffs. We offer firewood for your stay at a small cost or feel free to bring your own. When the sun goes down the star gazing is spectacular.
We have an additional brand new cabin ready to rent. It is on another part of our property which is more secluded. Please message me if you are interested in staying in this other cabin.
Own a 4wd? You are welcome to drive around our property and take in all the tracks & views that have been created in the landscape.
Take a drive to the 'Paddock Cafe' which is about 20 minutes drive from our property to grab your breaky or lunch feed. They use local produce and sell a large variety of locally made products.
Have a larger group? We can accomodate camping and caravans. If you wish to book the cabin and then have camp sites nearby also we have done that before for larger groups. We book our camp sites through Hipcamp.

We had an amazing stay, Mandy and her family were so welcoming and we recommend visiting the local town that has a great cafe and nice little shops, it’s a great break from the city with amazing views
The stay was absolutely incredible the views were so nice and had no issues with anything whatsoever if there was something it was quite easy to get help!! Would definitely recommend this as a place for a nice relaxing getaway
Loved the off grid location. Great place for a getaway and bushwalking. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The hosts were great and very welcoming. We will be going back.
We were super impressed by our stay! The hosts were so welcoming and accomodating, the property was beautiful and the tiny home had all you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway with the spa, campfire and plenty to explore on and around the property.
We’d highly recommend this stay to any of our friends and family.
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. The views were incredible, the cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and great hosts, allowing us to explore the property freely and even offering a later check-out time if we needed it. Would definitely recommend, the long scenic drive to and from is worth it alone!
The cabin is very comfortable and well equipped, the views are fantastic and it was a good location from where I could explore the rest of the valley and do some birdwatching.
Mandy and Jake were very good hosts and made me welcome.
Lovely property with wonderful views from the tiny house. We made use of the fire pit and the spa. Surrounding area has walks into the national park. We had a great time and would have liked to have stayed a few days more!
Lovely, clean, well organised and designed 'tiny house' in a spectacular location, with great walks and opportunities to swim and beautiful countryside. The hosts are really helpful and the spa and fresh farm eggs are to be recommended. Clear night skies make for great star gazing.
We loved our stay on such a beautiful property. The views are amazing. Enjoyed late afternoon and nights by the fire pit! Very well appointed cabin. Mandy and Jake were great hosts and gave plenty of privacy….thank you.
The perfect getaway in the middle of the most beautiful mountain ranges. Myself and my partner loved every minute of it. From the swimming holes, bush walks, the peace and quiet, Ziggy the dog and the spa bath.
Wonderful and welcoming hosts, in the most stunning and private valley.
They offer so much! Wildlife, 4X4 tracks, camp fires friendly farm animals and stunning 360 views of the colourful Cliffs.
It was well worth the stay and we will be back to visit again!
What an absolutely beautiful location for a quiet getaway. Perfectly clean self contained cabin. Hosts were fantastic people. Great communication with them. The surroundings were exactly what we were after. We'll be back!!
The property was so beautiful with 360 degree views. A perfect location to sit and relax around the fire or explore the property and the surrounding National Park. We cannot wait to return in the future.
This Cabin is located in a dream land. Perfect spot with the most amazing views. The family who owns the property are really nice and made us few very welcome. We're coming back for sure.
Ideal place to relax. Beautiful location. Everything you need in the cabin together with gas bbq nearby. Fire pit perfect to enjoy the stars at night. Hosts Mandy & Jacob were great, so helpful. Hope we can return
The place is absolutely beautiful. The facilities are really nice, everything is clean and new. The view from the room is amazing and the overall vibe is breathtaking. The owners are really nice and friendly and made sure we were ok and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend it.
Mandy and Jake's farm is such a beautiful place to spend a few days, with easy access to nearby trails. The cabin which sits on a hill is very clean and has all the amenities you would need to spend a few days away. Mandy and Jake were great hosts and made finding the place very easy as we were driving late at night and were unfamiliar with the area.
Highly recommended!
What a stunning place to stay! Very comfortable with gorgeous surrounds with so much beauty a steep or two away. Mandy is a delightful and friendly host and Ziggy (the farm dog) an affection junkie and an effective tour guide. 😀
