Upper Chateaugay Lake

We used to stay at the Knickerbocker in midtown A year ago we stayed in an air b and B on the upper west side. While in the neighborhood we passed by the Bellaclaire—a beautiful building. We now stay there every time we are in New York—-4 times a year The neighborhood is great Two grocery stores in walking distance ., 2 movie theaters, a Barnes and Noble a many great restaurants. The 72nd street subway is4 blocks away and connects you withe time Square and the rest of New York City The staff is great Edward the doorman and Benedict the desk cleak are exceptional. The hotel has a great French Bakery on the main floor and you get a breakfast voucher to it for everyday you stay there The best room in the hotel are the Broadway Kings. An oval room withe 4 windows looking down on Broadway. This room is 390 square feet and has a refrigerator and microwave. A beautiful location and beautiful hotel

Staff was friendly. Wish room was a big larger and had a mini-fridge (to put things in not just hotel selling drinks) / coffee maker. I think those two things would have made a difference.

Furniture upgrades needed especially in roof top bar. Also Bartender we had didn’t make drinks very well but that was only one night. Overall staff was great, room was ok but no where to have suitcase open except on floor.
