The main reason for the low review was our experience on check-in. We contacted the host on arrival at the airport. Approx 2hours before check-in as we hadn't received the key combination to enter the property. We were unable to contact the host at all and tried VRBO. We could get through to their recorded message about the excellent...

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay, very friendly and helpful staff and lovely restaurant"

Zur Post Gasthof

10/10 Excellent

"We wish that we could give this hotel higher than 5 stars. Our stay was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was exceptional! The coffee is by far the best that we have ever had! The attention to detail in every aspect, was well beyond our expectations. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone that we know that is coming to this area of Germany. To top it off, the owner's wife makes homemade jam, which is served at the breakfast buffet and sold separately. We bought a few jars to take home with us. Delicious!! We cannot say good enough things about this location. We will be back! ❤️"

Vacation studio in Tutzing on Lake Starnberg

10/10 Excellent

"A delightful flat, very well thought out & more spacious than pictures convey. Kitchen extremely well equipped & laid out. Included oven & 4 ring hob plus equipment to make coffee every way possible. Really spacious bedroom with sitting area Inc small sofa. Bed very comfortable. Separate dining area with galley kitchen off. Balcony with seats & small table overlooking garden. All very comfortable with good natural light. Just a few minutes walk from the station, a little further to Starnbergsee & parks. We were welcomed by Thomas & Konnie. Both very friendly. Would stay again."
