「We were really grateful that the owner, Ed does single night rentals; although we would have loved to stay longer. Also, it is off grid, but with solar power. Biggest thing we were concerned about was my husband’s CPAP machine having enough power. There was no issues at all!! Quiet, remote and picturesque! 」

「Staying in a cottage on a lake was a real treat compared to the usual highway hotels and motels. A nice deck for happy hour and there is a full kitchen and it was so nice to have a real oven to cook our take-and-bake pizza. We had trouble connecting to WiFi but the friendly host helped us out. The only complaint I have is that the shower head is mounted too high and cannot be adjusted. 」

「Parfait pour la tranquillité. Il n’y a pas de restaurant à proximité mais le motel offre quelques repas pour nous dépanner ce qui fut grandement apprécié dans mon cas. Je voyage à vélo et le prochain restaurant était à 50 km!」

「The Hotel at Falcon Lake is amazing! Our room was beautifully decorated, roomy and comfortable. We didn't get a chance to use the fireplace but it would be perfect in the winter after skiing or snowmobiling. We ate at both on-site restaurants -- Black Bear Tavern (?), and 1964 and loved the food and service at both. The Backyard -- a fenced in play area for adults and kids was unexpected and a lot of fun. Falcon Lake beach is a very short walk away-- so that was a plus as well. Hoping to...

「It was very smooth to check in. The room was fairly big for two people. Nicely cleaned and was close to almost everything!! On top of those, the price was very reasonable. There was not a thing to complain about. We would love to stay at this motel when we visit Kenora next time!!」
