"Great location....staff super friendly. Just a little run down...dusty vents, dirt in corners, curtains missing hooks....1 microwave in lobby, and only certain rooms have refrigerators. Didn't care for the loitering at the front door all day."

"This was a great stay. Amazing friendly saff. Room was very comfortable and the maid staff was fantastic. Loved the pool and pool bar. Great lite fare and snacks. Restaurants and coffee shop where very convenient. Best of all is the location. If your a lite sleeper ask for an inside facing room. They are close to the pool."

"Dryer did not work. Was never told about safety on shower for hot water. Elevator was out for a day of my stay. Staff was pleasant. Management was reasonable about the inconveniences. "

"Tv in room wasn’t working. They did send someone right away it was still annoying. Ice machine wasn’t working and no microwave on 7th floor. No ice machine on ground floor either. Water leaking from ceiling behind front desk and in to carpet on other floors. They did have caution signs up though. No front desk attendant when checking out but security was helpful. Valet parking is $50 per night and self park is about 2 blocks away at $25 per night."

"The room was very nice but the low lighting made the room appear dark. We ate in the hotel's restaurant and were disappointed in the food. That included the room service we got. Slider was tiny and dip came with stale chips. Lower the cost. We didn't need the small jars of ketchup, mustard and mayo for one tiny burger. And had to pay $2 for cheese. We were even told that we should eat out. Housekeeping did good however didn't replenish the coffee pods and provide clean glasses when they came in. We had to request coffee pods twice. Maybe you should ask the patrons if they would prefer coffee over tea. Amber, the night valet/door person was awesome! She went out of her way to provide suggestions, open the door and even chatted with us when she could. The gentlemen who worked day shift sometimes didn't even acknowledge we were coming. Too interested in their phones. Front desk and concierge were nice and helpful. Would stay again but would not suggest the restaurant."

"Nice hotel nestled in the French Quarter. Nice perks like discounts to restaurant, daily public transportation pass, water bottle, water dispenser with variety. Gym is small."

"It is a classic old school hotel with an incredibly helpful staff. The Carousel Lounge is so much fun. Hard to get a seat on Friday or Saturday, but worth the wait if you can finally get in. My wife wanted a nice souvenir of our trip and called to ask if she could buy the logoed trash can in our room. They didn't even treat that as the crazy request it was and sold it to her. Can't say enough good things about our 3 night stay."
