The location is perfect could not be better placed train station is 5 mins walk away in one direction, New Town centre 5 mins in the other, 10 mins walk in each direction to North or South bay beach, the old town which I recommend highly to real ale lovers 25 minutes walk or 5 mins on bus. Shame we couldn't use the courtyard but were told by a lady there that it was a private courtyard that she owned. She was quite rude. Did not put us off our holiday though. 「I will never stay at a one of these properties again. The room was fine but the staff at reception was rude and unhelpful. It was booked prepaid with Hotels.com to which they said it was not prepaid even after showing the receipt to her. We chose to have diner there as we were tired. At least 1/3 of the tables were covered in dirty dishes. We eventually were able to flag a server down to give our order for food and drinks. Food arrived which was actually well done but never got our drinks even...

「It was a traditional three bed room town house so it was more than enough for two of us but we really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, quiet and very convenient to the train station, local shops and restaurants. The beach is just 3 mins walk away. The communication with the landlady was very good as well and Ruth was very helpful. We like Bridlington a lot so definitely consider to come back to this house again. 」
