Find Hotels with a Pool in Udawalawa

A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, catered to our needs very effectively

The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! The room looked onto the pool and was beautiful. The rain couldn’t be helped but it was quite loud against the roof of the room. The Sri Lankan breakfast after my safari was lovely and I also had dinner the night before, however I would say there wasn’t very clear communication of timings or where to go once I checked in but for dinner the guy from the hotel on WhatsApp answered all of my questions.

Amazing property. Beautiful location. Well maintained and situated perfectly to take advantage of the natural surroundings. Rooms clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked including umbrellas mounted outside the door.

This family owned hotel is stunningly beautiful. So many decorative details. The pool and hot tub so inviting. Backyard faces river with monkeys close by.

Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space. Staff was amazing and accommodating - food was good, not amazing - a little hit or miss. We didn’t have the full board / all inclusive like others and I felt like the prices were high for Sri Lanka. Menu was more accommodating to the full board. This is a remote location so plan to be spending most...

General manager to junior staff has been truly amazing during our entire stay. Very clean, comfortable place for nature loving people like us. The lunch and breakfast we enjoyed a lot! We sure will come back!

We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores.

Great hotel with stunning mountain views. Nice and secluded - perfect for relaxation. Attentive service and great food.

nice staff, amazing breakfast, and lake view are one of the best, especially during the sunset

Perfect location. Walking distance to town, the temples and the lake. Restaurant offered a variety of food choices and the dishes we had were excellent. Amazing pool, outdoor space. Super helpful/friendly staff. Internet very good in room.
