"Bit loud due to Airport being across the street but also perfect because airport is across the street. Brand new clean smell and the Manager is amazing and so is the night shift guard. If the breakfast amenity was available and the bar/food ooen then it would have been perfect!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Alaskan Hotel very much! We knew it was an old hotel, built in 1913, but we enjoy unique, historic properties. That is not everyone’s preference. We had the “shared bathroom” experience because we booked last minute due to airline cancellations. That was fine with us - the bathrooms and showers were very clean - but again, that would not be everyone’s cup of tea. It was very well located for our needs so location was honestly our first concern. The staff was so nice - they let us check in early when we showed up from the airport, which we so much appreciated! Overall, it was a good but brief stay and we would book them again if we ever return to Juneau."

"Staff was helpful and hotel was fine. And it was clean. It's a bit of a run down bldg. And it is expensive because it is in Juneau but it is right downtown. We had a room on the back and it was quiet. We were there for a short night before an early morning flight. The staff reserved a taxi for us for 5:30 am. The taxi did not arrive and the morning staff for since that they'd had problems with this taxi company. We had no problem getting a Lyft. The nighttime staff person thought maybe a taxi reservation would be better since it was such an early morning ride. But that didn't pan out. There was also quite a bit of a security line at the airport. We waited half an hour to get through the TSA PreCheck line. But that's not the hotel's problem; they were fine."

"This condo apartment (1 floor walk-up) is part of a brand new complex near the airport and then Medendhall Valley. It is extremely well-equipped with everything one could need for a short or long term stay including a washer/dryer and a kitchen with all dishware and implements including complementary coffee and snacks. We had a rental car to explore Juneau, and it was extremely convenient to be able to have a central point to stay away from the crowds and experience Juneau on our own timeline, racking up over 200 miles in just a few days. While Juneau Transit does service Glacier Highway, the closest stop about 1/4 mile away, but Juneau is well serviced with a large number of on-call, regulated taxis in case you don't have a car Host communication was excellent, and provided all the information one could possibly need. A modern heat pump provided both heating and A/C (not that A/C was needed that time of year) and the one bedroom unit was very spacious with a walk-in closet/ensuite. Ample, free uncovered parking provided. Highly recommended compared to the limited selection of existing hotels, the reviews of which were not inspiring."
