The Front desk woman who works during the day is fantastic. She smiles when you come in. This may seem like a normal thing, but you have to know that in Tunis, the majority of people who work front desk in Hotels hate their jobs and it is clear to the world that they hate their jobs from the look of misery on their faces as you walk in and way they treat guests as if they were annoyances that had to be dealt with. If you have visited Tunisia often, you know what I am talking about. The Breakfast was also EXTREMELY good. Again, the staff brings you a full course breakfast and everything was made very well. Most importantly, you get smiles again. The down side is that the heat did not work in the room. I happened to be in Tunisia during the maybe one month a year where it actually gets cold, and not having heat... well, that's kind of bad. The other downside is the location. Because it is in the center of town, it is impossible to get or find a taxi. It is in a kind of downtrodden area, not dangerous mind you, just not an ideal location to get taxis you walk down the street.
