"I love this hotel. It’s pretty and it’s quiet. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are even nicer. But the room amenities aren’t amazing. There is no microwave and there is no coffee maker. So when you’re planning a “don’t leave the room” type of stay it’s inconvenient. The restaurant was cute but simple. Food was good but they were out of several items. Cocktails were very good"

"Was surprised to have no queen size beds, so sleeping was tight. No fan in the bathroom kept the odors present. The pool had more debris than needed. Staff and breakfast was great."

"We just returned from a two-night Mother’s Day staycation at El Conquistador, and it reminded us why this place continues to hold such a special place in our hearts. We’re Tucson locals, and over the years El Conquistador has become more than just a hotel to our family, it’s part of our story. We had our wedding here, and years later celebrated our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary here as well. Every visit brings back incredible memories. What we love most is the atmosphere. There’s such a warm, welcoming family vibe throughout the property. It feels relaxed, beautiful, and genuinely enjoyable without being overly flashy or pretentious. It’s one of those rare resorts where you can truly unwind and just enjoy being together. The staff during this stay were especially kind and wonderful. From check-in to the restaurants to the pool areas, everyone treated us with warmth and care. You can tell the team genuinely wants guests to have a great experience. We also continue to appreciate that things feel reasonably priced compared to many resorts. It makes it possible to relax and enjoy the amenities, food, and activities without constantly feeling like everything is overpriced. Thank you, El Conquistador, for continuing to be a place where families can celebrate milestones, reconnect, and create lifelong memories. We’ll absolutely be back again. P.S.
