"Lovely stay"

"This is a budget hotel. If you want a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom, then it’s for you. If you want space and luxury, then it’s not. We’re the kind of travellers who just need a bed , a bathroom and a good breakfast (if possible), so the Smarthotel suited us very well. The buffet breakfast offered plenty of choice and was good value and the property was centrally located, and convenient for many of the sites, bars, restaurants and also buses. "The one-bedroomed apartment with sea view we rented was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped and the fan quickly removed any food smells. We loved the location of the apartment. We not only had an exceptional view across the water, but we were also very close to bus stops (and the bus system in Tromsø is very inexpensive and efficient), the downtown area. "Lovely apartment, at a good price. Really good value for money compared to the rest of accommodations in the country. The breakfast was good, the apartment clean and spacious, and located in the city centre. The sound insulation of the apartment could be improved, but the town is quite so after 10-11 pm it was ok. There is no lift but our apartment was on the 2nd floor (GF+1) and it was not a problem. "

It was central for our needs, close to port dock, Cathedral, shops & restaurants. The room was clean but showing signs of needed maintenance worn carpets & chipped paintwork. Plenty of choice of breakfast food,"
