「Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway. It’s a very quiet and clean home with all of the basic necessities. Large backyard surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s close to the Trinidad town where you’ll find some eateries and a grocery store. Easy access to the freeway. Communication with the host was quick and easy.」

The place is so comfortable, down to the smallest details like lighting and high quality bath products and linens. The bed is maybe the comfiest bed I’ve slept in, ever. The studio itself is incredible, thoughtfully designed and immersed in the redwoods, with so many neat and intentional details throughout that made the space feel special and inspiring. It’s the perfect blend of design, comfort, and nature. We absolutely will be back!」

「Definitely a cottage! Fun setting. Peaceful and quiet out of the crowds. This rental is set up in the yard of a main home, essentially an on property guest cottage. Make sure you bring food with you or eat before you crash for the night. Closest food stuff was back towards town 10-15 minutes. We used Uber Eats for our meal. Which was fine for us, just wanted to be sure others were aware.」

「We loved our stay at Shore Acres! The property is beautiful and perfect for the kids and dog! The views of the coast were amazing and we took the short walk down to the river many times. The house is old, but very well maintained and updated. That being said, don’t expect everything to look or work perfectly. We appreciated all the linens and kitchen items, and the fun extras like the telescope and pingpong table! We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. 」
