「Fabulous setting and surroundings, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered the burgers from the evening menu and that is the only that spoilt the stay, they were extremely processed. All the rest of the food was great.」

「We stayed at the Peak Hotel for 3 nights & unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While the property is exactly as advertised—a charming historic building with a pub downstairs—it feels more like a pub with a few guest rooms than a traditional hotel. After check-in, there was very little interaction or hospitality from staff. Our biggest issue was Room #1, which is located directly beside the pub’s outdoor patio. 「Lovely stay, a little disappointed that the breakfast was a brown bag filled with a pot of porridge, croissant and orange juice. We did find somewhere local in Castleton for breakfast. Was very clean and lovely place to stay.」

Toilet window unable to open. Dirty carpet. Burnt arm on heated towel rail when bent down to retrieve towel from floor. No warning notice. Double wall socket peeling from wall.
