"Super nice hotel! Great staff! Very clean rooms, highly recommend!"

"For this to be a newly renovated hotel, the look was subpar. The layout of the room leaves much to be desired. As soon as the for opens you are net with a small area to place your bags then immediately the desk and chair are there impeding the walkway. Directly next to that is the dresser. The bedding is of the lowest quality I've ever experienced the pillows look like they are from the prior owner. I booked a room for 2 adults. I was not given the proper amount of towels. I called the front desk and they never brought the other towel. We had to go get it ourselves. The temperature of the room was not able to be controlled. On our second day the front desk staff gave me a disgusted look while demanding my room number as I was exiting while taking a phone call which could be a safety concern. "

"I messaged them that I would have a very late check in and it was easy to check in when I arrived. I wish they would put a note somewhere that the lobby is not ground level but on the 3rd floor. I understand why they do this on the elevator but there has to be a more efficient way as the room key not always was detectable specially with luggage and kids in hand. Breakfast was good but messy not enough staff cleaning up behind people and also people not cleaning up after themselves. The room itself was clean and met our expectations."

"Excellent experience in a historic property. Everything is well maintained, and the owners are extremely kind and attentive."

"The location was sketchy. There were open lots full of glass and trash on multiple sides. It's on a street with three different police stations and you hear sirens at all hours of the night. Just up the street in any direction are people smoking pot, sitting on stoops, and looking at you with a mean look. There is a homeless shelter on the next block. Inside was newer and clean, but the quality of the construction is SO poor that it's embarrassing. See photos. Each room had a mini split and, even on low fan with the temp set to 72, it was like an ice box inside. Overhead 5K lighting is terrible and feels so bad. These lights should never, ever, be used indoors. The water was not hot, the shower head, was lame and not adjustable, the sink and tub were small. The desk was absolutely TINY. While there is a kitchen, there were no supplies like paper towels, soap, dishwasher soap, a drying rack, a tea kettle, a toaster, or anything. We asked and they were not offered. The freezer did have an ice maker. The bed was nice. Good sheets and pillows and a softer mattress made that nice. We left a day early and were not offered any refund or even a thank you."

"This apartment was nice as it had 2 separate bedrooms and amenities such as AC and TVs in each room, however it was a bit disappointing. We were given minimal supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, and towels to bathe with) so we had to personally stock up on those. It was not very clean- the bedding had random stains on it and the bath tub had a used (and stained) shower liner in it. The bathtub wouldn’t drain fully when being used. There were also a lot of air fresheners all over, which I’m assuming was to mask the smell of cat pee and weed from the other tenants in the hallway. We also kept getting woken up in the middle of night by traffic and tires screeching outside, but that is just what comes with visiting Philly. There was plenty of free parking on side streets, which was very convenient. Overall, it was a fine stay for the price; it was fairly clean and felt safe for the area. Instructions on how to enter were easy to follow, and check out was simple. I would recommend if you’re on a budget."
