Extremely convenient for all transports and town facilities. The building is old and tired with some issues but the staff is always ready to help. Overpriced for the quality of the not recently refurbished rooms.

Lovely place to stay right in Totnes great food breakfast was very good lots to choose from shame not much room for parking had to park in a car park so extra cost to be aware of

We love the Royal Seven Stars - it's very quirky, like Totnes itself, but it's in an excellent position, as is the town. The staff are excellent. It's miles away from the standard packaged nonentity of the chain hotels.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 day break at the Royal Seven Stars in Totnes. We had a wonderful time. The hotel and staff were lovely. Good food and great selection of wines. The bar was frequented by visitors and locals which made a great mix with very friendly locals making us feel very welcome.

A Totnes institution with bags of character...really top staff who offer great service...very comfortable nights sleep. A busy bar and really good food on offer.....and all at a reasonable price...will be back !

Character stay in the centre of Totnes, excellent value. Clean, functional with the only negative being parking, but at £2 overnight across the road at Morrison's, i didn't consider this a major issue.

Royal 7 Stars is a wonderful old hotel in downtown Totnes at the bottom of Fore Street which leads up the hill to the castle and all the quaint shops. Good food and very nice folks here.
