This house is incredibly beautiful! We were excited about the space. The rooms are very big. The kids had their own bathroom which is a huge plus. I do have to mention that the whole house is extremely dirty. The only things that looked clean were the beds, and, thankfully, the bathrooms. The rest of the house is filthy. Definitely would not recommend if you are a clean freak. The walls, the light switches and cupboards are so gross. It looks as though they haven’t been cleaned in years. Plus, the carpets in the bedrooms are all stained. The house needs a deep clean and a paint job. I asked the host before arriving, if there was a Keurig coffee maker. He said yes. There wasn’t one. We ended up buying one at Walmart. The toaster doesn’t work unless you hold it down manually. We used a spatula to hold it. See picture. When we arrived, we wanted to bbq for supper. The bbq was left extra dirty. There was food all over it and no brush to clean it. We had to skip the bbq supper and went to Swiss Chalet instead. The cookware is very old and scratched up. We ended up buying a frying pan just so we could make breakfast without having the eggs stick to the pan.Make sure to bring dish towels, face cloths and hand towels. We only had one towel each for our whole stay.Overall, the place is very beautiful, but it’s a shame to leave it filthy like that. I’m sure no one appreciates paying for a filthy house. This should be taken seriously and rectified for the next guests.
