Cozy Timber Trails on Lake Superior

Our condo is the perfect hub for your next adventure! Spend the day taking advantage of the local activities/sights; or kickback, unwind, and enjoy the breathtaking views & cozy atmosphere of Chateau Leveaux. In addition to the pine walls & private fireplace that give you the feel of your very own north woods cabin, our unit also provides you with the comforts of home away from home. Hang out in the pool/hot tub/sauna/gameroom/lodge and enjoy the rooms walk out access to stunning Lake Superior!
The space
Breathe in the crisp Lake Superior air and take in the wondrous North Shore/Lake superior views- all from the comfort of our cozy north woods themed unit.

This lakeside unit is in the heart of the beautiful Chateau LeVeaux and is modeled to offer you a unique/ charming feel during your stay.

Upon entry, you'll notice wide open spaces. Our first floor unit is the only ground level option that has had a load bearing beam added . With this addition, the living room/ kitchen view blocking poles were removed - resulting in our unit being able to allow you a little extra room to spread out and get comfortable. You will also feel the cozy/north woods cabin theme from the contrast of the dark floors & rustic pine covered walls/ceiling.

To your left, will be a beautiful pine/ tile covered full bathroom; offering some toiletries: hair drier/ hand soap/ bodywash/ shampoo/ conditioner/ toilet paper/ wash clothes/ hand towels/ towels/ and pool towels.

Upon further entry of the room, you will notice a fully equipped/modern kitchen. The kitchen is stocked to provide you with any cooking/eating needs you may have: oven/range/microwave/refrigerator/sink/coffee pot/coffee/paper towels/cookware/silverware/plates/cups. Also features an elegant wooden/granite top island with seating for 3- perfect for eating and even better for playing games! Speaking of, on the far wall of the kitchen, there is an ivory hutch that contains games/books for your entertainment.

You will notice a few spots for storage on your left. There are wall mounted cabinets for any extras; as well as, a door to a large storage closet. This is the perfect spot for storing your skiis/snowboard/bags/etc.

Further ahead will be the single bedroom. This room features a dressed queen size bed with a stunning view of the lake, ceiling fan, nightstands with warm lights for reading, carpeted floors, and a full sized closet stocked with various blankets (for warmth on a chilly night or to have around the campfire). The bedroom also features pocket doors to allow you to open or close off the space between the bedroom/living room.

Once you set your bags down, you will probably want to make your way to the living room. The combination of sweeping Superior views, pine walls, and brick fireplace* make this the ultimate room for relaxation. Grab a book or just kick back and relax on the comfortable love seat/chair - don't forget the foot stools! The living room has multiple tables to be used for games/storage and a variety of lamps for you to adjust the lighting. Make yourself at home or grab the pair of binoculars(currently being replaced and not available)off the mantle and go sight seeing! There is also a TV with VHS/DVD player and dish. Wi-Fi is included in the room and lobby.
*Wood for burning in the fireplace is not provided, but is available for sale locally.

Being on the first floor, this unit is perfect for immediate walk out access to your own private patio and a number of staircases that take you on a journey to the waters/rocks of the North Shore / Lake Superior(Depending on weather conditions,these walkways are sometimes closed) . Our unit is also steps away from a campfire/ grilling spot- the perfect place for stargazing around a bonfire on a clear/cool night. You may be able to even hear the waves crashing on the rocky shore below.

As a guest, you will also have access to the shared common spaces. Enjoy the miraculous views or have a cup of coffee on the large common deck. There is also indoor seating/tables just inside of the large glass deck windows. Relax/read/play games/ watch the game on the large screen in the common lounge area- this area also has VHS/DVDs for use - please be sure to return them!

Go for an indoor swim, sauna, or a dip in the hot tub. *Sauna is currently closed due to Covid guidelines and MN restrictions* Enjoy ping pong/pool/foosball/tv in the common game room. Common Washer & Dryer also available for use across from the game room!

Incredible location offers convenient access to many beautiful outdoor adventures: minutes away from Lutsen ski/snow & some of the states best hike/bike/snowmobile/cross country trails. Incredible restaurants and cafes are also minutes away!

We are excited to have a new professional white glove cleaning team servicing our unit beginning 12/12..We also have new appliances on order- unfortunately, they are on backlog but should be here soon!!
