"While situationally located for our trip. I must say the place is dated. IMO very expensive at over $300/ night. The breakfast is just okay. You can preregister before arriving but you end up doing the same thing all over again at the front desk the place is average in an extraordinary town"

Mountain and ocean view home close to downtown and hiking trails
10/10 Excellent
"Our extended family stayed in this home for a week in June 2026. We had more than enough room. The place had everything we needed - including a freezer to store the 70 lbs of fish we caught. The kitchen and dining area were very well equipped, even for our making Halibut Olympia from scratch! The views off the balcony were glorious, especially in the mornings when the magpies and bald eagles were out. The place was also nicely located near downtown and there is even a coffee shop within walking distance."
"Tonya was an absolutely fantastic host! From the moment we booked, her communication was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She made us feel welcome before we even arrived. The home itself exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally well-stocked with everything we could possibly need and then some. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into making guests comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, the home was clean and inviting, and we felt right at home throughout our stay.Whether you're visiting Kodiak for work, fishing, sightseeing, or just to relax, this property is an outstanding choice. The attention to detail, comfortable accommodations, and Tonya's hospitality made this one of the best VRBO experiences we've had. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay in Kodiak. Five stars all the way! "
