The property is excellently located, just 4 miles from the entrance of Sequoia National Park. While it is not a luxury rental, it is highly functional, pet-friendly, and ideal for up to four guests.
Great location just a few miles down from the Ash Mountain Entrance. The home was very clean, fully furnished, family friendly, and the host was also very attentive and provided an easy check-in/checkout process.
Great stay! The accommodation was very comfortable and came equipped with all the supplies and facilities we needed. The location is perfect—right near the park entrance and within walking distance of several excellent restaurants. Highly recommend! Lid the owner is very friendly and supportive.
Lis's place is very clean and organized. Everything you need for a relaxing time is at the cottage. Lis is very accommodating and will help in almost any situation. Only con: Internet is spotty; sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. However, you are in a rural area surrounded by mountains, so get reception when you go to restaurants.
Had everything we needed, location is perfect for the parks, peaceful and quiet, very relaxing. Our stay was great. Lis was also a great host.

We loved every part of our stay in this home. It’s clean, Cozy, peaceful and quiet. I really liked that you can hear the river which I believe is very soothing. I definitely would stay here again.
The cottage was great! There is a nice outside area to relax. We saw squirrels, turkeys, and deer. It was about a 45 minute drive all the way up to see the Sequoia’s, so not a bad drive at all. We had some great food at the recommended areas and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
The cottage was a perfect size for four adults. It was extremely well stocked and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the setting was very peaceful. The host, Lis, was very responsive and attentive. There were a few good restaurants in town, but we fell in love with River View and became repeat customers.Stock up with groceries before you get into town. The location is incredibly good! You have quick access to Sequoia National Park, and a little further to drive to Kings Canyon. If we come back with friends, we will stay in the exact same spot, if available.
Overall everything was great! Great location, great conditions and amenities of the property, great comunication with the owner, clear and easy check-in/check-out process. This place has everything you need to have great vacations on Sequoia & Kings Canyon National parks area. Definitely we will consider this place again in the future if we decided to return to Sequoia.
The place has lots of amenities like parking, yard space, large living spaces, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom supplies. The WiFi is super fast, two of us were able to work remote. Lots of fun DVDs and VHSs to choose from. Close to sequoia for hiking! And the host was very attentive. The m you so much for a lovely stay.
If there were some safety precautions in place, this home would have been a 5 star for sure. By that I mean hand rails up the front steps. and grips in the shower over tub. So, I really had no complaint, the house was very clean and comfortable.
Communication with Liz was really great. She responded immediately to every single request. Even though we arrived several hours earlier than check in time, they were able to finish cleaning to accommodate us so our cat did not have to stay in the car any longer. The place was clean and spotless and very cozy and fit the two of us and our kitty very well. We love the fact that it felt like home. I love the fact that we were able to do laundry and take home clean clothes! The convenience of the short drive to town and the short drive to enter the Sequoia National Park makes this a perfect location for your getaway. Tony’s Taverna on Wheels had great food. The fresh squeezed orange juice at village market was awesome!!We had wildlife that visited us every day. A flock of 10 turkeys crossed our yard first thing in the morning and again at around 7 in the evening. The lizards and the squirrels were really fun to watch as they meandered all around our property and the little quail gave out their quaint little call to each other. Also saw a buck early one morning, loved hearing all the birds calling to each other and hopping back-and-forth on the lawn.I would give this place a five star rating and would definitely recommend it to all friends and family who want to come up to this location.
We absolutely loved our stay at this home in Three Rivers.
The house had everything we needed — two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and outdoor seating (though we didn’t use it much because of the heat). Everything was spotless, neat, and thoughtfully arranged. I especially appreciated the minimal, uncluttered décor. The WiFi was strong and reliable, which was essential since our cell service didn’t work well in the area.
Lis was a wonderful host — friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She shared great tips about directions, local attractions, restaurants, and shopping, and she responded to our messages very quickly.
The location is perfect for visiting Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon, with charming cafés and restaurants nearby.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and made many special memories in one of the most magical places in the world. We highly recommend Lis’s place to anyone exploring the High Sierras. A true 5‑star experience.
I loved the location as to how close it was to Sequoia National Park. I enjoyed that it was dog friendly. Dogs are not to be on furniture or beds. It can lead to an extra cleaning bill which I did not get but I was very careful.
Clean and comfortable, a perfect place to rest after exploring the park! Comfortable beds and lots of space to hang out with the family. Wish the wifi was better, but to be expected in the mountains.
