"Clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to boardwalk. Beds not comfortable at all, reconsider if you have back problems. AC unit very close to the bed. Not very roomy rooms. "

"Sadly- things just didn’t go smoothly. Air conditioning in our room was not working- we were offered a fan the first day. However the next day I asked the maintenance guy himself and it was fixed in 2 minutes. Power went out in our room one morning from turning on the hair dryer. We were told maintenance wasn’t in yet so no one could flip the breaker. Room keys reset 3 of 4 days. Keys didn’t work to pool We had called ahead to learn if there were plans for an egg hunt / the Easter Bunny - we were told no. Yet there were. They were updating the room to the left and right of us - which was needed. But started working at 8am- not great when traveling with teenagers who could have slept in for their spring break. Pool towels lacking. Pool app to order - didn’t work Once we got it to and food was sent without the modifications They need to set aside parking for hotel guests versus restaurant guests versus members . "

"So glad they have parking, but it is a tight squeeze. We had issues with check in and got in about 1.5 hours after check in time. The walls are really thin and you can hear every loud conversation and all the running around and furniture moving around you. The location is perfect and the staff is really nice and welcoming."

"TL;DR: Room smelled of vomit, staff were dismissive, “fixes” were unsanitary, and management offered no accountability. Do not stay here. As soon as we moved the bedding, a strong vomit odor hit us. Not faint, not surface-level. It was embedded in the mattress and spread through the room immediately, making it impossible to sleep. We immediately contacted the front desk. Staff barely reacted. Their “fix”? Stained sheets, uncovered pillows, and a blanket with no cover. No mattress protector was offered. We had to grab a blanket from the wardrobe and sleep as far away from the smell as possible. The hotel was fully booked, no alternative rooms were available, and it was past 11pm with a passed-out toddler, so leaving was not realistic. We had to rearrange the bed ourselves. I did not sleep at all. Later, they called it a “scent” complaint and claimed it was reported “nine hours after check-in.” Misleading. A mattress contaminated with vomit is unacceptable at any time. We were sold a room that was not clean, not sanitary, and not fit for occupancy. This stay shows a failure to meet basic cleanliness standards, unsanitary attempts at resolution, unresponsive staff, and no accountability. Any response blaming the guest instead of taking responsibility only confirms how poorly this property is run. Do not stay here."

"The gym was well equipped and the property was kept up nicely"

"Hotel was clean and spacious but amenities and service felt pretty mediocre. There’s real amenities except an outdoor seating area with fire pits and indoor seating area with fireplaces. We were there on a warm weekend - yet bizarrely there were no furniture cushions on the patio couches and chairs that were obviously designed with cushions. Without cushions, you’re sitting on plastic a just a few inches off the ground with a seat sloping backwards. I went out both at night and late morning - no cushions. The fire pits were so dirty, full pieces of food and crumbs left out and drink stains all over. Staff - we were checked in by someone still in training who didn’t quite know the process or the hotel which would have been okay but her trainer left her alone only a few minutes into the process, leaving us all in the lurch. In the morning I forgot my key and wasn’t able to fill my water bottle in the gym and had to use the dispensers in the lobby. One of the staff stared at me while I filled one entire bottle and most of another before pushing into my space so I had to step aside and informed me that I needed to fill a plastic cup and pour water from the cup to my bottle because my bottle was “unsanitary.” I travel often and not having an easy way to fill a water bottle in the lobby, especially in California, is just bizarre. Parking wasn’t a lot but felt pretty silly to be charged for two days for a one night stay in the middle of nowhere. "

"This property did not have our room confirmed even though we booked 2 weeks prior. We could not get our room at 8pm at night with our two toddler girls waiting to go to bed. We were very disappointed and had to drive 3 hrs home while being very sleepy. We had a confirmation # and the charge was already on my card, the person on the kiosk even had our confirmation # but said somehow it wasn’t fully confirmed. I cannot believe we were turned away and not given a room. "
