「これぞアメリカといった感じの建物で、日本で言えば高原の軽井沢にのんびりいる感じ。 家具調度が凝っていて落ち着きのあるホテルでした。テラスのロッキングチェアで夕方に供されるワインとオードブルでくつろぎました。朝食はフルーツたっぷりのヨーグルトとフレンチトースト。 古いしつらえの建物なのでエレベーターはありません。部屋に持っていく荷物は軽く！ 出会った老夫婦は以前にこの近所のホテルに来たことがあって、今度は是非ここに泊まりたいと思って来たのだと言ってました。 クイーンサイズベッドはちょっと狭く、それが失敗でした。」

「I cannot see why anyone would choose a chain hotel if a room at the Grande Magnolia is available. Our weekend in Benson, NC was exceptional due in large part to staying at the Grande Magnolia. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a man who knew us by name. We were shown to our room and given a one on one explanation of some of the features and history of the hotel.
