The main room with kitchen/dining room/living room was the natural center of activity for us. The fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere and was surprisingly warm. There were games and easy to navigate TV controls and lots of nice books to peruse.
The kitchen had a great stove/range, but there were a few things that could have made the meal prep easier - better stirring spoons, more family serving dishes, bigger soup/pasta bowls, better non-stick pans.
The master bedroom with en-suite bath and the steam shower was great. The other bedrooms were much smaller and shared one shower for the rest of the party. The half bath in the top most room helped but getting up there required some nimble stepping.
The hot tub was in a nice spot with excellent star gazing, but the path to get there, though short, was not well lit. Also, the back porch seemed a little ramshackle with some random pieces of wood of unclear purpose.
The actual location was surrounded by woods and in a nice community, but there is no mountain view from the house. There is a very nice view about 300 yards up the road. It is a little far from the gondola, about 0.7 miles, which fine downhill but hard uphill. A phone number for the shuttle service was provided, but the service required an access code, which was not provided.
Overall, Telluride is an awesome place to visit that is incredibly beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.
