「The inn/pub was well attended with nice staff. Our only complaint was that there wasn't any salad option on the menu...not even the old caesar in a bag. As it was a work stay, one can only eat so many meat and chips.」

「I really enjoyed my stay eventhough at the beginning I had a room where my tv did not work but the member of staff was so helpful when I explained this . He said someone would come but they did not come so I went back to him and also told him how my towels were soiled. He changed my room . I had a great sleep and he cooked a great breakfast . He works really hard and was nice . Respect for the staff member who was the only one I saw there on my stay doing everything . 」
「I stayed here as a wedding guest and was not disappointed. The room was really clean and very modern and overlooked the canal which was nice to see. The bed was quite high which other guests also commented on but was comfortable. The only downside was I couldn't find the hairdryer when needed but was told by another guest that the center compartment of the desk lifted up (this was not obvious) which housed the hairdryer and mirror. 「A couple of miles out of town but well located. Rooms clean and today, breakfast decent quality however the breakfast room itself feels dated and could do with a modern refresh. There’s a lot of empty space in the dining room which could be lifted with some sofas and a tv perhaps to make it feel more welcoming 」
