This property was in a great location. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach and not far from lots of places. It has a roomy living area and a nice outlook to the hills. Unfortunately the fridge needed a clean and the oven was so greasy we didn't use it. We did mention this to the owner, but he didn't respond. With a good clean up it would be a worthwhile place to stay. The neighbours cat was very friendly!

Great value for money!

Very spacious, close to the beach, and good value for money. We checked in late with no issues, and the check-out time was a leisurely 11:00am, which was nice. You do need to bring your own shampoo/conditioner, as the owner provides most toiletries except these. We had a really pleasant stay; we highly recommend this apartment!

Two night stay not as expected

This place could be amazing but we did get off to a bad start due to a break down in communication. Darren did upgrade us to an upstairs bedroom, with full kitchen, hence we decided to push out the boat and cook all our meals. This was going to be such a treat as we were on the road for seven weeks. Food went in the bin when we were put in the original room. To be fair to Darren couldn’t have known that we had very limited internet connection so his final email to us we did not pick up. We did sit outside the apartment for a fair amount of time trying to figure out why the key for the upstairs was not in the correct place. Darren did not pick up on the message we left on his phone, I fact we had no contact with him at all during our stay. We were told that his cat which lived upstairs was not to be let into our apartment....well the cunning little minx had worked out the route in though a bedroom window. It scared the living daylights out of us when it appeared during the night. The place was not very clean when we arrived, lots of dust,cobwebs a rusty fridge which was not in very good working order. On a positive note this apartment was not expensive and was situated in a very nice area . The living room was large and airy.

Excellent house - beautifully furnished, and so many gadgets! Also a great location - low key, and not too far away from town. The only complaint I have is the cleanliness of the house. Other than that, amazing and would defo stay again.

Roomy ground level unit with good-sized lounge (no dining table) and kitchenette and separate bedroom with comfortable bed. Near beach and local shops. At eastern end of Papamoa, so a bit of a drive to Mount and Tauranga. Good for a quiet break away from crowds.

Nice home close to all amenities,Beautiful beaches

Very cool place to stay.The only problem was the bathroom floor water was everywhere cause shower needs to be boxed in.And bed was in coffin position other than that awesome place I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to chill and relax by the beach.

Comfortable quiet room

A surprise. Good one. Much bigger room than a normal hotel room. Pretty comfortable. Only thing was there's no rubbish bin in the room. Overall experience really good. Only a bit far away from amenities.

Minutes walk from a surf beach, good local shops.

Short drive to Mt Manganui for patrolled beaches and safe harbourside beach. Food at "The Pap" just down the road was fabulous but there are many more options. This accommodation is perfect for couples wanting a quiet spot but close to everything. Really loved our stay.

Nice Apartment close to the beach

Nice quite stay, all the comforts of home. The bed was comfortable however the arm chairs where not.
